Jeremy Lin's Game Winning Shot Proves New York Knicks' PG is Real Deal

Eric BowmanJun 7, 2018

If anyone was doubting Jeremy Lin, the New York Knicks point guard showed he has the clutch gene by knocking down a game-winning three-pointer against the Toronto Raptors with .5 second left on the clock, proving that all his critics should disappear.

Lin scored 27 points and a career high 11 assists. This marked the sixth straight game Lin has scored 20 or more points and recorded seven or more assists. Oh, and the Knicks have won all of those games too, proving that "Linsanity" is here to stay.

If you missed Lin's incredible game-winner as time was running out, watch below to see just how clutch Lin is.

What Lin has done in over a week is truly remarkable. The Knicks keep winning because of his stellar performances night in and night out.

With the next five games all being played in New York, it's hard not to believe Lin will keep this up.

He's put the Knicks on his back and will continue to carry the team for as long as he can.

Those who thought this was a fluke can't really say that know because Line continues to prove them wrong.

Since his next opponent is the Sacramento Kings, look for Lin to keep dominating.

Arash Markazi of ESPN Los Angeles tweeted the truth about Lin's sudden success.

People want to focus on negatives, but the fact of the matter is, Lin's doing everything right.

Call it "Lincredible" if you want, but it's easy to see this former Harvard athlete is the real deal.

As ESPN's John Buccigross points out on Twitter, Lin is thriving like no other as a starter.

By displaying his clutch gene for all to see, it shows that Lin is the complete point guard. Not only does he score, which isn't really asked of point guards that much, Lin dishes it out for his teammates and is a great closer.

Eastern Conference teams need to fear "Linsantiy" because it keeps growing, and know that we know Lin has ice water in his veins, the Knicks are only going to get better.

If you're tired of Lin know, I suggest you get over it because he isn't going anywhere. Lin is shaping the Knicks into a legitimate contender, and the team should continue to play well, especially once Carmelo Anthony returns.
