WWE/TNA: 'IWC VOTES' What Is Your Favorite Wrestling Stable of All-Time?
Welcome to today's edition of "IWC Votes."
In the past, I have asked you, the reader, to vote on various topics, including favorite wrestler, Royal Rumble moments, favorite entrance theme, favorite wrestling video-game and favorite manager (voting still active).
In this edition, I ask you to tell me what is your favorite wrestling stable of all-time.
Wrestling stables are a great tool when you have a group of guys that are going no where and you want to elevate one or two of them eventually or it can even be when you have too many main-eventers and you want them to hang around together for a while and try something new.
Sometimes these stables become legendary and other times they fizzle out and are completely forgotten about until articles like these come around.
All stables are usually formed by wrestlers who have a common interest or furthermore, a common enemy.
Some stables are so popular that they have been around for more than a decade, but in various promotions and have had a tremendous amount of members.
The common WWE fan has probably noticed that wrestling stables have become a thing of the past for the most part. This has just been a recent trend, however, if you look at the product from 1990-2008 there was probably more than three dozen stables that made their way on TV.
Stables are actually what helped save the wrestling business in the 1990s.
WCW became huge when Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall formed the New World Order (nWo) in 1996 and the WWF began to turn the tides in their favor when the Triple H-led D-Generation X began to pull pranks and cause all sorts of mayhem in 1998 and 1999.
So my question to all of you is: What is your favorite wrestling stable of all-time and why?
This stable does not have to be restricted to the WWF/E, WCW or TNA, it can be from any promotion.
I'll post the results in a few days.
