NFL Week 10 Picks: Road Teams That Will Win in Hostile Stadiums

Patrick ClarkeNov 10, 2011

Like every week in the NFL, road teams in Week 10 will have their work cut out for them.

Winning away from home is never easy, but as the playoffs begin to apply pressure to two-thirds of the league's teams, road wins will have even more added importance.

Regardless of the opposition's talent level, these three teams will find a way to quiet the hostile NFL fanbases in attendance in Week 10:

Baltimore Ravens over Seattle Seahawks

The Ravens will face the intensity of the 12th man in Seattle on Sunday afternoon, but that's nothing compared to driving 92 yards for the win against the vaunted Pittsburgh Steelers defense at Heinz Field in November.

Although Baltimore has struggled on the road this season, just 2-2, they are significantly better than the Seahawks, and would be wise to avoid dropping a game like this heading into the season's home stretch.

St. Louis Rams over Cleveland Browns

The 1-7 Rams will look to win game No. 2 of the season Sunday in Cleveland. The Browns have been a disappointment in the rough and tumble AFC North division to this point, and a home loss to St. Louis seems very plausible.

Cleveland's running game is all but nonexistent right now, and its top-ranked pass defense is the only bright spot in a 3-5 season.

Denver Broncos over Kansas City Chiefs

Arrowhead will be rocking on Sunday afternoon, as the Broncos enter trying to make up ground in the AFC West.

Tim Tebow has Denver feeling good about itself and a third win in four starts would silence the critics, especially a win on the road in front of one of the league's toughest crowds.

Kansas City's blowout loss last week proves anything can happen in a given week of NFL action, and Denver's win on Sunday will guarantee that.
