Ahmad Bradshaw Injury: Updates on Giants Star's Week 10 Status and Fantasy Value

New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw missed the team's game against the New England Patriots on Sunday with a foot injury. It doesn't appear to be a long-term ailment as of right now, but his status for New York's Week 10 game vs. the San Francisco 49ers is uncertain.

CBS' Fantasy Football Twitter account took the guesswork out of the Ahmad Bradshaw injury situation. He's officially been ruled out for Week 10 vs. the 49ers. 

Even with Brandon Jacobs, the Giants are up against it with Bradshaw being ruled out this week. They're taking on the 7-1 San Francisco 49ers, who put forth the No. 1 run defense in the NFL.

Jacobs is going to have a tough time trying to power through a Patrick Willis-led 49ers defense that allows just 70.8 rushing YPG.

Brandon Jacobs did a solid job while Bradshaw was out last week, and he may have to do the same in Week 10. Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN New York tweeted the latest on Bradshaw's status. 

Bradshaw remains questionable, but right now he needs to be on your bench. The Giants would love to have both running backs on Sunday, especially against the No. 1 rush defense in the NFL. 

However, it doesn't look good for Bradshaw. Keep checking in on his status throughout the week, as it could change. Sitting out of practice could just be a caution today, but if he doesn't practice the rest of the week he's likely out.

Adam Schefter of ESPN tweeted some information about Bradshaw, and, although it's positive news, it shines a questionable light about Week 10. Fantasy owners will learn more once practices start picking up again during the week.

At least it appears Bradshaw isn't in any danger of missing the entire fantasy stretch run barring a setback. We'll update his status as more info becomes available.
