BCS Rankings Week 11: Projected Standings for the Newest Poll

It’s here.

Today is the big day.

In just a few short hours, No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama will battle it out in one of the most hyped up college football games in decades for the right to be the nation’s undisputed No. 1 team.

Well, at least for now.

As we head into Week 10 of the college football season, the only game that anyone is talking about is the huge SEC showdown between the Tigers and the Tide, but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be other games on tap today that could really shake up the current BCS standings.

In the other SEC battle between two Top 10 teams, South Carolina will travel to Arkansas for an inter-divisional matchup that actually has a chance to be every bit as exciting as the big LSU vs. Alabama game.

You’ve also got ranked teams like Oklahoma, Oregon, Michigan, West Virginia and Arizona State that all have to be wary of an upset.

It should be another exciting Saturday of college football, topped off by what is hopefully going to be the best game of the season.

Here’s a look at my early projections for next week’s BCS standings based on my predictions for this Saturday’s games, but make sure to check back tomorrow morning for my official projections after all of the weekend’s action has concluded.
