Hell in a Cell is over.
Now, it is time to look forward.
With only three weeks to prepare, it should not be too difficult to figure out what matches we are in for at the next PPV.
With so many stars in WWE, what stars and what matches need to be seen at the PPV?
With PPV cards usually including about seven matches, the following are ten matches that should at least be considered for the upcoming PPV.
The tag champions are on a roll as of late.
Nothing can stop them.
Now, they need new opponents and who better than the only real tag team left in WWE?
I know that the Usos have some heat for a recent DUI, but they still have the ability to continue the string of great matches the tag champions have been involved in lately.
This would be fast paced and action packed from start to finish.
This is a faint hope at best, but both of these guys deserve the spot.
Most important though is that Wade Barrett gets more exposure.
Barrett is being wasted lately, and that needs to stop before Barrett becomes the next Drew McIntyre.
This match could be a great opener for the show and show off both men's skills.
They have a ton of history to explore and styles that blend well.
Hopefully, if it happened, they would get at least 15 minutes to shine.
These two had a decent match tonight.
There were botches and a short "boring" chant.
However, they caught the crowd at the very end, and the history here needs to continue to be explored.
Give them a second chance, and they might be able to smooth out more of the rough edges.
Together, these guys have the opportunity to be great.
Just give them some more time to grow.
Because it would be great to watch.
Both of these men can throw down in the ring.
They both need some serious screen time to get themselves over.
They both need some major checks in the win column.
This would be exciting, fun to watch, and easy to set up.
All we need is a few barbs against Vickie and a roll up upset by John Morrison on a Monday Night Raw, and this match would be ready to go.
It finally happened.
Kelly Kelly finally lost.
Beth Phoenix won and solidified the new reign of the Divas of Doom.
Look for a return match.
Kelly Kelly should become more and more aggressive as she tries to get the title back, and the match could be a decent contest if Beth is allowed to dominate.
I hope to see this reign last a long time.
This match barely happened on Raw last week.
Many people talked about a possible redux at Hell in a Cell.
While the tag team match was one of the best tag matches I have seen in a while, I believe a Ziggler/Ryder match would have been even more entertaining.
With Ziggler inching toward the main event, Ryder could use the huge push from a US Title win.
It would be great just to watch the Internet Champion finally get on a pay-per-view.
With a great reign coming out of Cody Rhodes, it is time to continue the great run of matches for Rhodes.
Bryan is the best wrestler in WWE today, and he has history with the champion.
This feud writes itself and would be a huge show stealer.
While many have been clambering to see Rhodes enter the main event, I want to see him get a long reign with the IC Title first. It would solidify him as a competitor and give some deserved prestige back to the title which looks sick now.
The shame of this though is that Bryan would probably lose again, but it could lead to the final turning point for Bryan to turn heel.
Mark Henry is still the World Heavyweight Champion.
He has been interesting to watch and exciting.
He is the best thing going on on SmackDown.
But he has a lot of people nipping at his heels.
With the way Randy Orton has been dominated lately, this match would be helpful to Orton's character.
It would give him a chance to beat the monster.
However, it would be even greater to see Henry actually continue his reign destroying all three other main event stars on SmackDown.
No matter what, we would get to see some great stars compete together here.
This would be an excuse to get all the major players involved.
Triple H wants to get Vengeance (pun intended) on the Miz and R-Truth, but he needs help.
Who better to help you fight these guys than someone who also has a bone to pick with this group?
CM Punk and Triple H would be a fun pairing to watch as they progress toward this match, and all four guys know how to throw down.
It would keep the ball rolling and avoid too many obvious run in angles.
This looks familiar.
However, we should all be hoping for a much different result.
With Del Rio stealing John Cena's title, you know Cena will be first in line to try and get it back.
This time though, it is different (hopefully).
First, this should be a no disqualification match, so Del Rio actually has a chance.
With no real finisher that gets a pin fall victory, Del Rio needs the ability to use weapons against Cena.
Second, this should not be John Cena's fourth(!) reign this year.
This should be about finally putting over a new star in...
Albertoooooooooo Del Rrrrrrrrio!!!!!
With some great matches at Hell in a Cell, I am looking forward to Vengeance even more now.
With more time to build up feuds and create tension, it can only get better from here.
Vengeance is coming!
But for who?
We will see soon.
Any matches you feel I missed?
Any general comments about Hell in a Cell?
