If Hope Solo's ascension into super stardom continues on its current course, she will be Queen of the Universe by 2013. Her latest venture into the headlines finds her leaving her clothes at the door as she will be posing nude for ESPN The Magazine's third annual "Body Issue."

Solo's rise took wings during her amazing goal keeping for the US during the riveting Women's World Cup in July. She was one of the faces of the team, and those faces were everywhere.

She has since been busy parlaying that notoriety to become a pop culture fixture. She is currently wowing viewers on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. This has broadened her fan base as the show puts on full display her grace and beauty.

People want to see more Solo, and they will get more in this magazine.

If you have never seen an ESPN Magazine "Body Issue", the featured athletes are not wearing clothes. The photos are tastefully done, and body parts are arranged to cover up other body parts that keep the photos PG.

The magazine will give Solo another chance to show off her figure, and to drive up the public's interest. As a female soccer player in the US, fame attained in that arena is fleeting. The spotlight is limited, however, with careful and smart moves this spotlight can be used to launch a career.

Mia Hamm was in a similar position following the US Women's dynamic World Cup Championship in 1999. She turned that into a lucrative career in commercials and sports commentary.

With Hope Solo's current career moves, she has ensured that she can follow this same path as she builds her name as a brand.
