The feud between Triple H and CM Punk seems to be put on hold at the moment.

At this time, the Voice of the Voiceless will be competing in the first triple threat match at Hell in a Cell for the WWE Championship.

At first, I figured this feud would culminate to a huge match at Survivor Series. It still can, but Trips seems to be entangled with more than just Punk.

He is now fighting David Otunga, attorney at law, who is representing Dolph Ziggler, Vickie Guerrero, Cody Rhodes and Christian.

Do not forget, Awesome Truth still has a score to settle with the Chief Operating Officer.

Last night on Raw, Laurinaitis, the executive vice president of talent relations (had to add that, since he never tells the world his position) was in search of finding the solution to the craziness in the WWE.

He feels that Trips is not doing a fine job and the whole business is going out of control.

With all of that being said, where does this leave CM Punk?

I'm very skeptical of his title shots. At Hell in a Cell in five days, he will compete against John Cena and Alberto Del Rio.

Apparently, the Mexican tour had no effect on ADR's title reign (IWC fail).

John Cena, the current favorite IMO, has held the WWE Championship belt for a record 10th time. He is four title reigns away from matching Ric Flair's illustrious record of 16 championship reigns.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and assume WWE wants Cena to break the record.

Mix all of that up with ADR's success, and that leaves Punk the underdog.

I apologize for that, but it's the truth.

We can assume Awesome Truth, Johnny Ace, Triple H or any part of Otunga's clients might interfere in this match.

Here is the $250,000 question: What is next for Phil Brooks?

I narrowed it down to three possibilities. Judge if you may, any of these could actually happen.

CM Punk is the new champion- Being the underdog at SummerSlam and Money in the Bank, he came out victorious. I was as shocked as anyone watching those matches. If he becomes champion, that could lead to some interesting feud possibilities with HHH.

He could end up forming a stable of his own. You never know, the ROH crew is late to join the party. It seems of Otunga and Sons might form one of their own and Ace/Nash/AT has an alliance.

Will CM Punk win the WWE title?

CM Punk joins Triple H- This might be the likeliest of situations. Both Levesque and Brooks (sorry, my keyboard turned off) have a major problem with Funkman.

I can see them teaming up to take them down. It's only a matter of time that Nash returns and Awesome Truth seek vengeance. Hunter will not be able to take them down.

However, I can't see Punk doing all of this with the title. Regarding that piece of information, Cena or Alberto Del Blando would hold the belt.

Vince McMahon returns to aide Punk against HHH- Ah, the bold prediction ensues. I honestly love this idea, because Vince needs an angle for his return. Since Del Rio practically teased his return last week on Raw, we all know the boss is returning.

When Trips announced that McMahon was voted out of office, Vince was upset. There is some unfinished business to be settled.

Let's pretend this feud does last until Survivor Series or beyond. Vince coming back would add a shock wave to the program.

I see Triple H/Punk at Vengeance or Survivor Series. Vince returns and helps Punk defeat the COO. That would catapult a new feud that involves all three men. Of course, we would mix in Ace, Nash and any other conspiracy victim.

Interesting?

Thanks for taking the time to read this article. I appreciate any feedback I receive. Please, respond with some of your ideas for Mr. Phil Brooks. Take care and have a great day!

I write the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth and it's... AWWWEESSSOOMMMEEEE!
