Glen Rice and Sarah Palin's Alleged Hookup Nothing Short of Strange

I knew a few things as fact about Sarah Palin. I knew she was an accomplished hunter, and I knew she was a maverick.

But—if a new book is to be believed—I had no idea how deep these tendencies ran.

I also knew a few things about Glen Rice.

For instance, he had one of the most prolific college basketball careers in the last 30 years.

I had no idea of the depths of its prolificness—what? I'm talking about Sarah Palin; I can make up words.

Best-selling author Joe McGinniss is about to release his long awaited book "The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin."

The National Enquirer was given an advanced copy of this book, and the tabloid revealed some things that are jaw-droppingly juicy. 

Among the gossip-worthy notes is the assertion made by the book that Sarah Palin did a little Thanksgiving hunting for Michigan basketball players. 

The University of Michigan played in the Great Alaskan Shootout around Thanksgiving in 1987 while Glen Rice starred for the Wolverines.

At the time, Sarah Palin was covering the event for the Anchorage television station KTUU.

This is when Palin is reported to have set her sights on Rice like he was an unpardonable Thanksgiving Day turkey.

The Enquirer added that a friend of Palin's said, that like any good hunter, "she hauled his ass down" for a one-night stand over Thanksgiving weekend.

The reported hook-up occurred in the University of Alaska-Anchorage dorm room of Palin's little sister.

I have no idea if this is true or not, and maybe—just maybe—Palin planted the rumors herself.

This could be an elaborate attempt for Palin to stay relevant in reality TV. She could be gunning to launch an Alaskan version of Basketball Wives.
