WWE News: Release of Kevin Nash Is Prime Example of Poor Storyline Direction
As if the storyline wasn’t convoluted enough, the WWE has decided to throw another wrinkle into the mix by officially releasing Kevin Nash.
While the WWE has made it look as official as possible, this is very obviously a ploy to get the WWE Universe to believe that Kevin Nash doesn’t work for the company anymore.

WrestleMania 42 Night 1 Takeaways ✍️

Most-Likely Swerves for Night 2 🤲
"WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Kevin Nash as of Monday, Sept. 5, 2011. We wish Kevin the best in all future endeavors.
"
Is it just a coincidence that CM Punk said good luck on your future endeavors when he walked over Kevin Nash on last Monday’s Raw?
No, this is another swerve in the WWE’s mind that will work as an effective manner of tricking the fans that keep following along.
It’s really our fault, as WWE fans, for buying into these stories time and time again, and it gives Vince McMahon the guts to keeping feeding us the same slop over and over.
Nash is not fired, and as a matter of fact, he will play an intricate role in the outcome of the Triple H vs. CM Punk match at Night of Champions.
While the role still remains very unclear, the fact that the WWE showed Nash leaving in a limousine with director of talent relations director John Laurinaitis means that something is awry in the backstage area.
The teasing of the return of the nWo on the WWE website is still there, so I think the long-term plan is to bring back some sort of incarnation of the former stable.
There is no doubt Nash will run in at the Night of Champions PPV, but who he will screw over will be up for debate.
