CM Punk and the WWE: HHH, Nash & the Conspiracy Against the Rebellion
"To repress rebellion is to maintain the status quo, a condition which binds the mortal creature in a state of intellectual or physical slavery. But it is impossible to chain man merely by slaving his body: the mind must also be held, and to accomplish this, fear is the accepted weapon. The common man must fear life, fear death, fear God, fear the Devil, and fear most the overlords, the keepers of his destiny."
-Manly P. Hall
CM Punk finds himself within a dilemma. He is stuck between the proverbial rock and a hard place. All his momentum gained has now veered directly into a large brick wall. He now must ask himself; Do I allow the brick wall to remain standing by simply side stepping it? Or do I kill the foundation, watch it crumble around me and walk over its remains?

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
It is no secret that CM Punk has summoned the masses to his call, and has started a quite successful revolution within the WWE. He has taken command of the people, their problems, their cries and their fears for a dying product and has risen to heights unparallelled in his time to answer them. He has become the kryptonite to a "Super" being that ruled the lands for a great while, and has revived the spectacle, grandeur and spirit of those who who were patiently waiting for a change that seemed far, far away. But with this great new-found power lies an enemy waiting to smother him and his "mini" revolution.
The power switch within the WWE kingdom came swiftly, with Vince McMahon giving way to his son-in-law, Triple H, without even the faintest show of struggle. Perhaps it was his time. For too long the company's direction and focus had suffered at the hands of this man's vision of complacency. The same vision that propelled it from the backyards of the deep south to the bright lights of Madison Square Garden, pay-per-view and the wonderful world of merchandise sales. His time as ruler had been ended by his lack of faith in his best warrior, John Cena, and had cost him his place on the throne. HHH would revitalize the kingdom seemingly overnight. The people cheered as he made one bold move after the other, giving the people exactly what they wanted...
...but his graciousness stopped at the one man the people wanted to see the most...CM Punk.
CM Punk. The man who belittled Vince McMahon as his final days of emperor where winding down. CM Punk. The man who would hold the WWE kingdom hostage by leaving with its crown jewel only to return once he was given the power and money he desired. CM Punk. The man who would continue to belittle the new ruler and all he was trying to change...
CM Punk had now made enemies with those who not only rule the Kingdom, but could control his destiny within the company he so graciously came back to once his desires were met. CM Punk had made enemies so quickly that he did not yet understand how deep their roots went, how deep their pockets were, and the people who would go to war for them.
CM Punk has only uncovered one wrinkle, Kevin Nash, in the plot against him. There may be many more who wait their turn in line as CM Punk continues to delve deeper into the void.
A Simple Text, With an Un-Simple Solution
"In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happened, you can bet it was planned that way."
-Franklin D. Roosevelt
The newly crowned Undisputed champion had met the proverbial brick wall as he floated through the air on his way to losing the title to a waiting Alberto Del Rio. He had struck a nerve in the vein of the ones who ruled the Kingdom, and while the people may love CM Punk... the higher-ups deemed him a rebel who was to be dealt with swiftly. The time for talking had passed. Management was now taking action, and ending this little rebel alliance who now showed they had more than meets the eye in terms of power and influence.
This Nash would appear the next night claiming he had received an urgent message from the current king, Triple H, that he was to "hit up" the winner of that night's championship match; a match that had been won by the rebel, CM Punk. Punk would return to confront his attacker, but instead of gaining answers would only gain a new enemy.
HHH would claim no responsibility for Nash's actions, but seemed pleased that Punk was no longer in possession of the crown jewel. HHH would allow the rebel Punk to reclaim his rightful spot as the number one contender to the title if he defeated the equally cheated John Cena. Cena would claim victory because of yet another appearance by Nash; who earlier was said to have been involved in a terrible accident and was in the hospital. A concerned HHH would leave the arena... leaving Nash all alone to once again torment Punk and his rebellion. Who delivered the message of this "accident" to HHH...
...John Lauranitis, the man who had served as Vince McMahon's right hand man for many years faithfully; who watched as power was not given to him, but to a man who had been secretly groomed as the heir apparent in HHH, was suspiciously quiet with the return of Nash. Sitting ringside as Punk was distracted by Nash he did nothing, and said nothing... which said everything.
Stephanie McMahon. The so called "idiot daughter" of Vince McMahon, who's sudden return has raised more then a couple of eyebrows, is also a prime suspect of the ever expanding conspiracy against Punk. His on-air rant targeted many people, but specifically her. While she has seemingly disappeared for now, her motives have been well documented.
There is a simple question with an un-simple answer... Who sent the text to Nash?
While the mystery and conspiracy is unclear surrounding Punk, there is one thing clear...
...he no longer finds himself within reach of the "richest prize in the game", but suffocated in lies, hearsay, and rumors. He is now far, far away from claiming the championship, and that's exactly where the ones who rule the nest want him. If CM Punk is going to dive any deeper into the conspiracy and the "government" that rules the WWE kingdom, he will have to sacrifice everything he once had and has spent his career fighting for... The WWE Championship.
Let the Madness Begin
CM Punk now has decisions to make. Should I sidestep the conspiracy? Or do I break its will with my own? Do I sacrifice my quest for the title? Or do I sacrifice everything I stand for? What do I stand for? Who is with me?...
Who can be trusted?
The higher-ups have convoluted CM Punk's return to the WWE so much that he is now a slave to them. Their web of lies, deceit, misdirection and blame have entangled the once rising star and crashed him back down to earth. While fans may claim afoul on the WWE for "killing" the revolution, let us remember that this is how life in general works. One can not rise up and prevail if they do not face persecution, hardships and a fight from the ones who overlook the ones looking to aspire.
Eventually we will come to know how deep the water is that CM Punk now treads in. We will eventually know who is the captain of the ship that has steered CM Punk down this course, but until then, we will witness and cheer for our "savior" of wrestling to prevail and demolish the brick wall before him.
Is Nash the last line of defense between Punk and the "King" Triple H? I would think not.
Is there a conspiracy within the conspiracy hampering the rise of Punk? Could be.
Is a coup on the horizon for the HHH-run kingdom? Perhaps.
...and what about John Cena?
He now sits, once again, comfortably at the helm of his own destiny. The WWE title, once again, within his grasp. CM Punk, his kryptonite, now completely entangled within his own problems far away from Cena and the WWE championship...
...What about little John Cena? Perhaps Punk should turn around from the madness ahead of him and look into his past for answers about his future...
With a smile on his face, his Cenation behind him, and only Alberto Del Rio in his way...
What about John Cena?
"If we understand the mechanism and motives of the group mind, it is now possible to control and regiment the masses according to our will without them knowing it."
