WWE Summerslam Results: Ranking the Top 20 After the Biggest Party of the Season

WWE releases weekly Power Rankings. But WWE's Power Rankings are based on what they do in and out of the ring. If a wrestler cuts a promo but doesn't fight, it doesn't affect their Power Ranking much.

So I decided to create a points system that would help even out the rankings.

I will be posting a rankings list each month after a pay-per-view takes place.

Here is how the points system works:

Winning the World Heavyweight or WWE Championship - 10 points plus points listed below

Winning any other belt -  7 points

Title Defense - 6 points plus points listed below

Win a match against someone in the top five - 5 points

Win a match against someone in the top 10 - 4 points

Win a match against someone in the top 20 - 3 points

Win a match against someone outside of the rankings - 2 points

Make an appearance but don't wrestle - 1 point(this varies)

Lose a belt - Lose 5 points and Lose Points from below

Lose a match against someone in the top five - Lose 1 point

Lose a match against someone in the top 10 - Lose 2 points

Lose a match against someone in the top 20 - Lose 3 points

Lose a match against someone outside of the top ten - Lose 4 points

This list will be representing the Top 20 based on the points system since Money in the Bank

1.Alberto Del Rio (Current WWE Champion) - 19 Points

2. CM Punk - 16 Points

3. Cody Rhodes(Current Intercontinental Champion) - 15 Points

4. Randy Orton(Current World Heavyweight Champion) - 14 Points

5. John Cena - 13 Points

T6. Rey Mysterio and Kelly Kelly - 11 points

8. Mark Henry - 10 Points

9. Sheamus - 7 Points

T10. The Miz, R-Truth, Beth Phoenix and the WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty - 6 Points 

14. Wade Barrett - 5 Points

T15. Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan and WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler - 1 Point

18. Christian - 0 Points

19. Alex Riley - (-3) Points

20. Ezekiel Jackson - (-6) Points
