WWE News: Are Kevin Nash and the Corporation Coming Back to Monday Nights?

Tom Urtz Jr.Jun 7, 2018

I wrote a successful slideshow last night stating possible reasons why Big Sexy Kevin Nash attacked CM Punk at SummerSlam. One of the most repeated comments I received stated that I forgot to mention that Alberto Del Rio could have hired him as a hired gun.

This makes absolutely no sense to me because I can't see WWE wasting Kevin Nash with an unproven performer in ADR. Before all the haters come out, let me say that ADR is just starting out in WWE. He has had a good run so far, but he is not legitimate main-event status yet.

Look how long it took top stars to own the main event spotlight.

Having Kevin Nash teaming up with ADR would not make any sense when it comes to attacking CM Punk. It is more likely that Nash's actions were aimed at screwing CM Punk and not helping ADR.

We all know about the relationship of Kevin Nash and new COO Triple H. They are best friends and members of the famous Kliq. This is going to be the most likely reason brought up by CM Punk because he knows all about Triple H's past.

This whole situation had a major NWO feel in my opinion. Nash was an outside force acting on orders of an unknown associate or two.

To relate to pop culture terms, Nash is like Triple H's consigliere. Triple H is like The Godfather. He can't be seen getting his hands dirty, so he has someone else take care of his business for him.

What better man than the towering giant Kevin Nash? Nash provides muscle, hasn't been on the scene in quite sometime and has had his share in nefarious dealings.

This smelled like a Kliq job to me, but only time will tell.

In all likelihood the live appearance of Stephanie McMahon during SummerSlam could have something to do with the situation. She was seen coming out of John Cena's locker room and she has referred to him as the company boy in the past.

Taking the history and the facts of the situation into account, this appears to be the work of a higher faction. We have COO Triple H filling the role of Mr. McMahon. John Cena, the current top face, would fill the role of The Rock in this situation. Stephanie McMahon fills her old role in the infamous stable and Kevin Nash is just Big Sexy.

I am only curious to see what role John Cena could play. Throughout his career he really hasn't been one to team up with others. Early in his career as "The Rock," you could say the same about Dwayne Johnson.

Cena seems to be the type to run out all on his own against the world, but he may have done what was best for the company. I don't see where him getting pinned controversially would fit in with this logic, but Creative has really played games with us in the past few weeks.

Where does this leave CM Punk though? Rey Mysterio is fighting for the WWE title tonight against Alberto Del Rio. Punk left last night to a mixed crowd reaction in Los Angeles. Fans didn't know how to react and CM Punk look more sad and confused then he did angry.

For this reason, I feel it was the work of a screw job. He probably isn't mad that ADR cashed-in his MITB case—it comes with the territory of being champion.

However, he is probably going to be livid tonight on Raw and he is going to be demanding answers.

I am very excited for Raw tonight, and I would love to know what you are thinking right now.

Wrestling is for the fans and we have a voice. We want wrestling, and I feel this is a great way to air out some ideas.
