Gail Kim announced on Twitter today that she quit WWE. Kim returned to the company in 2009 after a four-year stint with TNA.  It is noted that Gail Kim was an employee of WWE, from 2002-2004 and was released in 2004 after WWE officials told her that they wanted to take the women's division in a new direction.

In other news, WWE officially released Vladimir Kozlov, Chris Masters and diva Melina Perez.

Melina, the real-life girlfriend of WWE superstar John Morrison, recently went through a new character change and heel turn. The WWE wished her luck in any future endeavors.

Vladimir Kozlov, tag-team partner of Santino Marella, was once a battling machine-turned-nice guy after teaming with Marella and becoming the lovable duo they were known for.  Kozlov won tag team gold with Marella one time.

As for Chris Masters, known for his Master Lock challenges, had a main event push in 2006.  Never coming to fruition, he slowly declined and that led to his departure in 2007.  After a few years in the independent circuit, Masters returned to the WWE in 2009, only to be found on just a few episodes or Raw and Superstars.

Again, the WWE wished Masters good luck in all of his future endeavors.

And just moments ago, David Hart Smith was also released from his WWE contract.  The nephew of Bret Hart, Smith has been with the WWE since 2007 and has won multiple tag team titles with Hart Dynasty.

Since his run with Tyson Kidd, he has not competed on TV and only worked dark matches.

That's right.  I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
