Amir Khan & Nonito Donaire: Who They and Other Top Fighters Should Fight Next

This is my first edition of Big Fights Previews. Normally, I will analyze upcoming bouts that are already scheduled, but for the first one, I decided to talk about the most intriguing possible matchups (or impossible in one specific case).

I divided the fights using most of the common weight classes, as I hate catchweights. It's another tool that allows the most popular fighters to pick and choose their opposition and weight, completely void of structure.

Catchweights further prove that world titles don't mean anything in the sport anymore.

In better days for the sport of boxing, championships were everything. Hopefully, there is a governing institution that can make sure fighters are treated fairly while restoring the value of being a division champion.

Ok, I'll get off my soap box now and lets talk about some fights.

I'm a big fan of Fight Night Champion the video game, so I've used the game as a medium to create footage for analysis. For approximately every three months I'll do an episode discussing new fights that have been scheduled.

I will be sharing my thoughts and depicting them through Fight Night Champion footage.

If you're wondering, "is this guy using a game to base his opinions on boxing?" No, I'm not, I thought it would be a creative way to talk about potential matchups, blending two of my passions—boxing and sports video games.

I took into consideration weight, height and ages when speculating on possible match-ups.  The style of fighters was also a factor as fighters like Marcos Rene Maidana seem incapable of putting on boring fights.

I offer predictions on the proposed bouts as well as the bouts the fighters included may already have scheduled.

So, who do you think should be next for Amir Khan, Giovani Segura, Rico Ramos and more? Many of these fighters aren't available on the game so I had to create and rate them using EA Sports Game Face create a boxer module.
