Ultimate Insider Featuring Belfort, Evans and the UFC's Fastest Finishes (Video)

First LastJun 7, 2018

This week's edition of Ultimate Insider features three upcoming competitors from UFC 133, which goes down August 6 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The main event will feature a rematch between UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz. Evans hasn't fought since defeating Quinton "Rampage" Jackson at UFC 114 while Ortiz recently picked up his first victory since 2006 when he submitted Ultimate Fighter winner Ryan Bader at UFC 132.

The co-main event will be between UFC middleweight contender Vitor Belfort and Japanese Judoka Yoshihiro Akiyama. Belfort talks about his victories in the UFC as well as his best win.

"It's hard to tell you which knockout I remember the most but I remember the first time I fought in the UFC," said Belfort, who is coming off his defeat to Anderson Silva. "I was 19 years old. Two fights in the night. It was the tournament in deciding who was going to be the heavyweight champion. I remember leaving there signing autographs. I was the youngest champion in the UFC."

On the undercard, Chad Mendes will be facing Rani Yahya in the featherweight division.

"I can't tell you guys everything but here is what I can tell you. I honestly think this is a great matchup for me," said Mendes, who is undefeated in his career at 10-0. "What's dangerous about Yahya is his top position. In his fights, he just likes to get a hold of the leg and pull you to the ground.

"My main goal is obviously not to get taken down by him but pick him apart on the feet. So if I beat Rani Yahya, I'm looking for the title shot next."

Also, a special "30 Seconds or Less" feature is presented in the video. It showcases some more of the fastest finishes in UFC history.
