Neymar: Should He Stay with Santos or Go with Real Madrid?
In the early 1980's, The Clash (a British Rock Group) recorded a song which became a great hit called: "Should I Stay Or Should I Go." Neymar (and his agent) appears to be taking the song to a new level with Real Madrid and Santos.
According to a recent article published by Sky Sports, Wagnar Ribeiro (Neymar's agent) told Marca (another magazine) that his client is ready for Real Madrid. The comment was made the day after Neymar announced that his future is with Santos in another article with Sky Sports.
Ribeiro added that the only obstacle is for Real Madrid to pay Santos 45 Million Euros ($65 million) in the exit clause. Jose Mourinho appears to have expressed interest in another striker for Real Madrid but has allocated money to sign Cesc Fabregas from Arsenal and Alexis Sanchez from Udinese.
I wander if Neymar (or his agent) are actually interested in Real Madrid or doing musical chairs during the Summer Transfer Window. I also think that maybe there are negotiations taking into account the schedule of Neymar or the money issue.
My conclusion is that Neymar and his agent should not be wasting time and money deciding whether to stay at Santos or go to Real Madrid. Neymar and his agent should make the decision as soon as possible and shoulder the consequences.
