Real Madrid Transfer Rumor: Mourinho to Buy Carlos Tevez from Manchester City

According to the online magazine International Business Times, Jose Mourinho is interested in purchasing the contract of Carlos Tevez from Manchester City.

According to the rumors, Mourinho expressed interest after Manchester City rejected the bidding price of Corinthians (a Brazilian football club) of $56 million.

Manchester City valued Carlos Tevez at $80 million and Corinthians was willing to bid closer to the price asked by the Premier League Club. Corinthians has decided not to initiate another bid for Tevez after the last rejection by Manchester City.

The only condition by Corinthians (if possible) would be a loan.

The result is a window of opportunity for Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid, who have expressed an interest in Tevez since the beginning of 2011.

Kia Joorabchian (agent for Carlos Tevez) has expressed that any move to another club would be based on the Tevez family adapting. Joorabchian commented on the presence of players from Argentina and Brazil in its roster.

Mourinho has also expressed an interest in acquiring another forward for the 2011-2012 La Liga season. The acquisition of Tevez would serve nicely in the ambitions of Mourinho to remake Real Madrid for the future.

The International Business Times predicts that Real Madrid will trade Benzema or Higuain in lieu of a full payment. I think that Mourinho will strike a deal with Manchester City for a lower price and Gonzalo Higuain.

Mourinho may send Benzema to another club, but this is my opinion.
