WWE: How Long Will Christian Pursue the World Title Without Winning It?
Christian Lost the World Title on May 6 after holding it for just a few days. Since then he has been unsuccessful twice in regaining the title.
At the Money in the Bank Pay Per View, we will no doubt see him face Orton a third time. Will he win his second World Title, or will he fall short yet again?
Christian has pinned Orton once since losing the title, but it was in a non title match with some less than fair circumstances for Orton.
It was almost a two-decade journey for Christian to get to the top of the mountain; how long will he take to get there a second time?
If he doesn't win at MITB, I am not sure what WWE will do. Having him continue to go after the title after three straight failed attempts would be a little repetitive.
I hope Christian wins just so the feud between him and Orton can continue because they have had great matches each time they have faced off.
Sheamus and Mark Henry both seem to be nosing their way into the title picture, could one of them take Christian's spot as the top contender for Orton's title?
Mark Henry has been on quite possibly the biggest roll of his career. He has systematically taken out Big Show on more than one occasion, and his domination on Smackdown has been huge lately.
Sheamus interrupted the contract signing last night, so we may see the match at MITB turn into a three-way dance at some point.
Without another major face on Smackdown right now, Orton is the sole babyface in the main event scene. Kane is still around, but he doesn't seem to be on the hunt for gold at the moment.
I think had R-Truth stayed on Smackdown with his current character, he would have been in the World Title picture at this point.
I want Christian to stay in the spotlight on Smackdown because to take him out of it at this point would just ruin all the work WWE did to build him into a contender for Orton's title.
What do you think? Does Christian have a chance at winning the gold back at MITB?
