Fantasy Football Week 8 Rankings: Kickers

Kickers may not be sexy, but they can put up points. Don't believe us? Well, 11 kickers in week 7 put up double digit fantasy points. So, don't ignore this crucial position, especially when you have the Bruno Boys Fantasy Football Week 8 Kicker Rankings at your fingertips.
--------------------

1. John Kasay (Carolina Panthers) vs. Arizona

The Panthers have put up 30 or more points in two of their last 3 games. The one in which they didn't - they met up with a tough Tampa Bay team, 5th in points allowed, while on the road. This week they get Arizona at home, so points shouldn't be hard to come by. That's good news for Kasay who is a perfect 14 for 14 on field goals this season.
Point Projection: 12 points

--------------------

2. Joe Nedney (San Francisco 49ers) vs. Seattle

In the 49ers last match-up with the Seahawks, back in week 2, Nedney connected on 4 of 5 field goals, including a game winner, to help propel himself to a nice 15 point day. He may not match those 15 points, but he should be darn close.
Point Projection: 11 points

--------------------

3. Jason Elam (Atlanta Falcons) @ Philadelphia

At age 38, Elam currently ranks top among fantasy kickers. You just have to love the longevity of kickers in the NFL. Elam should continue to stay on top as the Falcons should be able to move the ball against the Eagles, but will likely struggle when it comes to crossing the goal-line.
Point Projection: 11 points

--------------------

4. Shaun Suisham (Washington Redskins) @ Detroit

When you're a kicker and your team is going up against a defense that is giving up more than 30 points a game on the season, the feeling must be equivalent to what a child feels on Christmas day. The Redskins should put up a good deal of points against the Lions, which means a good day is in store for Suisham.
Point Projection: 11 points

--------------------

5. Matt Bryant (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) @ Dallas

The Cowboys aren't going to be involved in many low scoring affairs this year. They're a team built with more of an offensive mindset than a defensive one, which is why they're allowing 25 points per game. Bryant will take advantage of this in week 8.
Point Projection: 10 points

--------------------

6. Stephen Gostkowski (New England Patriots) vs. St. Louis

In their 41 to 7 victory over the Denver Broncos, the Patriots once again looked like the team that use to run up the score against opponents in 2007. If they can maintain that effort, Gostkowski, who had 12 fantasy points in week 8, will maintain his placing near the top of these rankings.
Point Projection: 10 points

--------------------

7. Kris Brown (Houston Texans) vs. Cincinnati

After three straight double digit performances,Kris Brown was hurt by his offense's efficiency in week 8, resulting in just 4 fantasy points for the kickers. While the Texans will put up a good number of points in this one, some of those points this time will come in the three point variety.
Point Projection: 10 points
