Lewis Hamilton Races Against the FIA

After a very poor European grand prix we all new we had the delights of the Belgium grand prix coming next.

A track renowned for its unpredictable weather that has played a part in so many races over the years we all knew it would do so again, so three laps from the end everybody is on the edge of there seats waiting for a few drops of rain. After a spin on the first corner Lewis Hamilton has come to within a second of kimi Raikkonen and was slowly lining him up for an overtaking manoeuvre, then we cut to the camera in the pits and there it is, the rain is lashing down and i know in set for an interesting last three laps.

Lewis spotted the rain falling and knew he had about 30 seconds to get past Kimi before it became too treacherous on the track, so he puts the pressure on and goes for the overtake on the bus stop chicane. Lewis has gone in too deep and Kimi isn't giving him any space at all, they pressure each other but someone has to give way or they will both crash out.

Lewis knows that even one point can decide a championship and he has to back out of the manuever, but he has already committed himself and has no option but to cut the last corner of the track. He rejoins and is a nose in front of Kimi but realising he has cut the corner he gives way and settles back into second place.

The next corner is the notorious first right hand-er on the track where Lewis spun, but with momentum on his side he decides to have a go at kimi and in a very fair manuever  he takes first spot, kimi doesn't want to give way and clips his back wheel with his wing, but it's too late Lewis is in front, Kimi piles the pressure onto Lewis and forces Lewis to go around the outside of the track and he takes the place back, just when you think its over they come to the next corner and find a recovering car going slowly they both go around either side of the car  and kimi gets the advantage but around the next corner kimi spins and its back to Lewis.

i,m on the edge of my seat my pulse is racing and I'm thinking, this is what formula one is all about, fair man to man racing, both taking risks but giving respect to the other, all the wheel to wheel racing ends in kimi ploughing into the wall and Lewis winning.

I'm a happy bunny knowing Lewis is so close to winning his first of I'm sure many formula one championships, when i come home a few hours later i find Lewis has been demoted for cutting the corner at the bus stop chicane handing his win to his nearest rival Felipa massa who had got away with an unsafe manoeuvre in the last race.

So all my faith was put back into formula one then taken away again by three stewards who say they are not siding with Ferrari.

My love of formula one has again been put to an all time low, how many times can I sit and watch Lewis Hamilton racing against Ferrari and the FIA before I and many get bored of the biggest political sport in the world.
