NFL Week 13 Predictions: Showdown between New York Jets and New England Patriots

This Thanksgiving as we ate turkey, the Patriots scored 28 unanswered points against the Lions to put them at 9-2 and atop the AFC East.

Well, at least for seven hours.

Because later that evening, when you were driving back from visiting a relative, the Jets owned the Bengals in the second half, out scoring them 23-3 in a 26-10 win, to put them at 9-2 and atop the AFC East.

The two best teams in the NFL come from the same division.

The Jets might not seem like a great team, considering the close win against the Broncos, Lions, Browns, and Texans.

But remember, they beat the Patriots.

The Patriots' only other loss was against the Browns, who the Jets beat.

This Monday Night is the Cardinals and 49ers, while next Monday Night is the Jets and the Patriots.

Which one are you most looking forward to watch?

What should we expect from the Jets and the Patriots on December 6th?

Well the main match-up is probably Bill Belichek against Rex Ryan.

One is great on offense and the other is great on defense.

The quarterback match-up is Mark Sanchez against Tom Brady.

That's not a contest, even though Sanchez has been fantastic lately.

Will this be a light game because these teams really don't care?

Absolutely no.

Maybe a game with a little trash talk and a little pushing and shoving?

No.

How about a game where both teams will go out there are prove that they are the best of the AFC East, and possibly the NFL, with hard hits, personal fouls and maybe a fight?

Yes.

This will be a game where the winner will win the division.

These two teams will either be the No. 1 seed or the No. 5 seed.

Each team wants a bye in the first round.

Each team wants to win the super bowl.

And it starts by proving that you are better then the team that you are tied with.

Ever since the Patriots got rid of Randy Moss, they have been playing phenomenally. Who would have thought that getting rid of one the best wide receivers of all time would make you better?

Expect fights in this game, mainly between Nick Mangold and Vince Wilfork.

Expect penalties on Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie, Wes Welker, and Deion Branch.

Expect the refs to just let them go.

Expect a lot of trash talk from these teams, especially from Tom Brady and Rex Ryan.

This game is a fight for not only the division, but in my opinion, the Super Bowl.

And also, expect the Jets to win.
