RAW Superstar Alex Riley Arrested For Driving Under The Influence

Lordsofpain.net reports that The Miz's apprentice, Alex Riley (real name Kevin Kiley), was arrested this morning in Tampa, Florida on suspicion of driving under the influence.

He was stopped at 1 a.m. and booked into the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office just before 3 a.m. The arrest report says that he refused to take a sobriety test after the arresting officer suspected he was driving under the influence.

He was released around 9 a.m. on a five hundred dollar bond.

So where does this leave A-Ri? The WWE lately seems obsessed with keeping a squeaky clean image, immediately cutting ties with anyone who does anything "unclean", so to speak.

Alex Riley is currently on the RAW roster, as fellow RAW Superstar Miz's "apprentice." He was featured on NXT Season two, where The Miz was his pro, and placed third.

Alex Riley is doing quite well at the moment, becoming more and more over as a heel thanks to his great mic skills partnered with being placed in cohesion with The Miz, who seems to have a gift for making other people look good.

Riley is also a solid in-ring worker and has the whole package to succeed as a singles competitor.

It is very likely that Riley will receive some sort of punishment for this arrest, and I fear that this will take place in the form of a release. This is very unfortunate for him, as he is doing very well at the moment and is expected to shine.

However, he could receive the same punishment Smackdown Diva Tiffany did after being arrested for assaulting her husband Drew McIntyre—Tiffany was suspended indefinitely.

Her charges have since been dropped.

It is unknown when she is to return, if ever.

While this news is unfortunate, as a WWE employee, Riley SHOULD know better. DUI is a very serious and dangerous offense. If his accusations are true, he should receive the appropriate punishment.

All the same, I wish him all the best, as I would love to keep watching him grow week after week.
