WWE Hell in a Cell 2010 Results: John Cena Joins Nexus, Kane, Orton Retain
A Hell In A Cell Taker DIDN'T win!

Hello everyone, WWE Featured Columinist Andre Harrison here, with a live Results Blog of WWE Hell In A Cell 2010, featuring 3 Hell In A Cell Matches, Randy Orton vs. Sheamus for the WWE Championship, Kane vs. The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship, and John Cena vs. Wade Barrett with the future of the Nexus on the line!

Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz vs. John Morrison (Triple Threat Submissions Count Anywhere Match for the United States Championship)

Result: Daniel Bryan retains with a Lebell Lock to The Miz. (13:35)

Harrison's Analysis: Awesomely fun match, this was every bit as good as people were expecting it to be.

And there was some fantastic spots here, with Bryan doing the Cattle Mutilation, Morrison with an insane 15-foot Crossbody and a Haas of Pain, and there were great Submissions.

Morrison stole the show, and this was one of the most unique matches I've seen in quite some time. Great stuff.

Harrison Match Rating: 3.75 stars out of 5

Randy Orton vs Sheamus (Hell In A Cell Match for the WWE Championship)

Result: Randy Orton wins with a Stair-Assisted RKO. (22:50)

Harrison's Analysis: Trust me, I was as surprised as you were when I found out that this would be the Second match on the card. However, this match delivered, big time!

Sheamus never looked so good, being brutal in his assault, focusing on Orton's abdomen and ribs, and Orton having to dig deep, including kicking out of 2 Brogue Kicks to win. Orton's best performance this year, and Sheamus' best ever. As good as the opener.

Harrison Match Rating: 3.75 stars out of 5

Edge vs Jack Swagger

Result: Edge wins with a Spear. (11:30)

Harrison's Analysis: This match was booked on the fly after Alberto Del Rio showed up. This match wasn't bad for something impromptu. Swagger looked as good as ever and Edge seemed more motivated than usual, and his selling was solid.

Shame about the finish as Edge kicks out of a Gutwrench Powerbomb only for Edge to Spear him one minute later. Ah well, good for what it was.

Harrison Match Rating: 3 Stars out of 5

John Cena vs Wade Barrett (Nexus Disbands or Cena Joins Nexus)

Result: Wade Barrett wins after Interference from a 'fan.' (17:50)

Harrison's Analysis: This was very thrilling. About four minutes in, Nexus come out to watch, they surround the ring, then the whole roster clears them out.

John Cena and Wade Barrett put on some great offence here, reminded me a lot of Batista/Cena from WM26. Fantastic stuff, Cena's psychology here was off the charts.

It looked like Season 2 of NXT will get involved as McGillicutty distracted the ref and Husky Harris hit Cena to give Barrett the win. Can't wait to see how this plays out, but a fantastic, thrilling match.

Michelle McCool vs Natalya (Unified Divas Championship Match)

Result: Natalya wins by Disqualification after Layla throws her shoe in the ring. (5:00)

Harrison's Analysis: Not much to say here. These two had real potential but instead, we got the Layla Interference. Nice mat wrestling...And not much else.

Harrison Match Rating: 1.5 Stars out of 5

Kane vs The Undertaker (Hell In A Cell Match for the World Heavyweight Championship)

Result: Kane retains with a Second Chokeslam. (22:30)

Harrison's Analysis: Like at Night of Champions, these two produce an excellent storytelling match, with sheer brutality.

Brawls in and around the cell, and some great moments, like the double sit up from both guys, and Taker kicking out of a Tombstone.

Also, the Bearer heel turn at the end was a class move that was really well done, especially with the graphics at the background kicking in. Overall, another solid performance from both guys.

Harrison Match Rating: 3.5 Stars out of 5

The Harrison Hitlist and Overall Show Thoughts

Damn good showing from the WWE here, especially considering they only had 13 Days to build this up.

Besdies the lacklustre Divas Match, everything on here delivered, especially the Orton/Sheamus match and Cena joining the Nexus. Definitely worth checking out.

I've been Andre Harrison, and that was your Analysis, thank you for reading and Sayonara!

Pros: Both Hell In A Cells, Cena vs. Barrett, Bryan vs. Miz vs. John Morrison, Swagger vs. Edge

Cons: Natalya vs. McCool

Harrison's WWE Hell In A Cell 2010 Rating: 8.25 out of 10 - Great, Recommended Buy
