That makes sense to me, if you’re robbing a bank it would probably be a good idea to do it when the police isn’t looking.

We can all agree with that?

After the Richmond race the No.33 car was tested at the R&D center, according to various reports NASCAR officials had conversations with RCR and told them they were too close to tolerances, in other words they were basically given a warning not to push the envelope, “we are watching you”

Still Clint Bowyers team decides to push their set -up to the edge resulting in getting caught and for all practical purposes giving the chase away.

Here is what just doesn’t make sense to me, why would anyone do something this silly (taking the high road here) when they have not only been warned but are in the eye of the executioner, NASCAR. (little dramatic there)

That’s the reason why I want to believe Richard Childress story about how the change in tolerances occurred, he claims that when the car was pushed to the winners circle (out of gas) the tow truck might of pushed the body out of whack.

You know what, I believe that , it could happen, I would bet there hasn’t been one of us who haven’t tried to push a friend or family and whacked their bumper or fender out of shape.

Mr. Childress said he will appeal the decision to the highest level of the NASCAR chain, here is a quote from Richard Childress: “ We will appeal NASCAR’s ruling and take it all the way to the NASCAR commissioner for final ruling , if need be..”

Good luck to him, he may be right but NASCAR appears to never be wrong, I’m afraid this a battle that has a predetermined winner, NASCAR.

There is lots of bravado out there from the No. 33 team and their fans about how they will just keep on fighting and get back to contending for a championship.

Hey! Boyer fans love you, but as Tony Soprano would say “FORGET ABOUT IT!” it’s over, the team can no longer try to get this car to the edge, that strategy will be reserved for the Hendrick and the Gibbs boys.

Just saying !

As always this is just a fans opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thank God for that.

Enough said.
