Randy Orton Involved In Serious Motorcycle Accident, Lucky To Be Alive
Randy Orton is lucky to be alive today.
The former WWE Champion survived a motorcycle accident near his home on Sunday, re-breaking the collarbone he had just recovered from. Orton will now be out for another three months after being out since June when he broke the bone in a Last Man Standing match with Triple-H at the Night of Champions PPV.
The third-generation star was wearing his helmet, but just a sweatshirt and shorts as he was thrown from the bike, "bouncing and rolling just under 300 feet."
From WWE.com: "Orton, who has only been riding motorcycles for a month, said he was riding around a sharp curve on a steep hill home when an oncoming car veered into his lane causing him to widen his turn."
WWE can't be pleased with this turn of events as he was literally just cleared to return to the ring last week. Likely pushed back to the top upon his comeback, that'll have to take a back seat for a while and probably a lot longer than that.
