It looks like they CAN do it without Torres and Gerrard. Even Dirk Kuyt took an evening off and they still won. N'gog and Joe Cole were absolutely fantastic tonight. I would definitely play Cole on Saturday against United. He helped Chelsea turn them over at Old Trafford last season. Omen perhaps...?

Steaua Bucharest do have a few good moves up their sleeves; Tanase and Stancu have a predator's tenacity but the team's defending still need a bit of sharpening up. Call it a learning curve.
