Football season kicks off in only a few hours, but the party has already begun.

The NFL came to town a few days ago and has taken over downtown New Orleans and we welcome everyone with open arms.

Now the world gets to see just how we do it down here. We are known for throwing parties and this one will be one of the biggest.

Not quite as big as Lombardi Gras, for our beloved boys in black and gold will not be headlining the floats. However, many of our local chefs, dignitaries, and bands will be as "NFL's Countdown to Kickoff Parade" makes its way through the French Quarter.

Whether you have a ticket to the game or not its time to head on down to the Superdome and celebrate.

WhoDat's get ready for an unbelievable evening as the Saints defend their title of World Champs.

Drew Brees and the team have made a request for not only this game but for every home game this season.

After the coin toss, as the players break and go to their respective sides those lucky TrueDat's in the dome are to watch for his signal. When his hand goes down we are to start our "WhoDat Chant" and do it three times.

Drew, we hear you and we will kindly oblige.

After the Superdome goes black and the banner is presented, we may have a hard time calming down but we will not let you down.
