According to several news reports, Hulk Hogan was hospitalized over the labor day weekend.

The Hulkster posted  a video on his twitter page where he talked about “a major spasm from my hip all the way up the middle of my back.”

He said the pain was overwhelming, but his CNN reported that his reps have said that Hogan should be fine.

I hope so, because he didn't look too good in that video.

But since we have a moment, and since we know the magic Hulkamania caused in the ring, let's look at Hulk Hogans best and worst moments outside the ring.

Worst Moment No.5: The Messy Divorce

In a town known for messy divorces, the Hogans' divorce is one of the all-time worst.

How bad?

Well Hogan told Rolling Stone Magazine while he was going through the disaster: "I could have turned everything into a crime scene like O.J., cutting everybody's throat."

Um, wow.

Okay.

That is pretty bad.

Fortunately, they eventually got it over with, with no blood shed.

Phew.

Best Moment No. 5: Roast of David Hasselhoff

Hulk Hogan has been in the public eye for decades but he's never shown anyone that he can give and take a joke.

Well he showed he could do both by being one of the roasters of David Hasselhoff.

If you can take a Lisa Lampanelli joke you are truly a good sport.

She starts tearing into him at the 3:26 mark.

But before that she gives it to everyone else.

Worst Moment No. 4: Helping Brooke Tan

Hogan said that he signed up for this reality TV show so that he could help his kids start their careers.

Well one thing it did it unleash the paparazzi.

They started following his wife and daughter around everywhere hoping to find dirt.

One of the more unflattering pics that were snapped was this one where he is helping apply tanning lotion on Brooke.

Seems innocent enough, but combined with him dating a much younger girl that resembled Brooke and his wife dating a much younger man, this came off as a bit weird.

Best Moment No. 4: Hogan Knows Best

After being out of the limelight for awhile and not being able to wrestle as much because of injuries, Hogan figured out a way to not only help his own marketability but that of his daughter who was an aspiring singer and his son who wanted to be a race car driver.

For all intents and purposes, the show was a success. Premiering as the highest rated reality show ever at the time for VH-1, it not only launched Brooke's singing career, she got a spin-off show, Brooke Knows Best, out of it.

Worst Moment No. 3: Cocoa Smash Down

In a sad day for all those who loved Hulkamania and Cocoa Pebble, Hogan sued the cereal company for making fun of him and his likeness. After all, he was beaten up by Barney Rubble's kid.

Bam Bam cleaned the ring with poor "Hulk Boulder" and because of this, there was litigation.

In a story told via the The Hollywood Reporter Hulk didn't appreciate that “Hulk Boulder is shown humiliated and cracked into pieces with broken teeth, with the closing banner ‘Little Pieces…BIG TASTE!’ ”

Not sure who won the case, but we kind of all lost.

BIG TASTE!

Best Moment No. 3: I Am a Real American

During the peak of Hulkamania running wild, Hogan dropped this on us.

Gets me hyped just watching it.

I jumped off the bunk bed onto my younger brother's ribs because of this song!

Fight for what's right!

Nobody did it better than the Hulkster.

Worst Moment No. 2: Mr. Nanny

The worst part about Mr. Nanny isn't the single digit rating it gets on Rotten Tomatoes.

It isn't that it messes with the mystique of George Jefferson.

And it isn't that it stars the little girl that will later punch David Duchovny in the nose while getting intimate with him on Californication.

It's the fact that Vin Diesel re-made this decades later and it was actually a hit.

Best Moment No. 2: No Holds Barred

This was Hulk's first starring role and it opened the door for John Cena and The Rock to make the transition from professional wrestling to the big screen.

And it was technically a hit, grossing twice what it cost to make.

Without ruining the plot for you, it was a wrestling movie.

And it co-starred Tiny Lister before Dark Knight and the Ice Cube Friday movies.

Worst Moment No. 1: Rent-A-Center

Hogan looks unhinged and Troy Aikman looks like he is waiting for the check, in cash.

Not sure if they are acting as if they can't stand each other or if they really can't.

Just bad.

Best Moment No. 1: Rocky III

Everyone remembers Thunderlips.

By being in an iconic movie that grossed $125 million, Hogan crossed over to non-wrestling fans that then followed him to the wrestling.

This movie started Hulkamania and it ran wild afterward.
