New World Champs: Fresh Young Blood WWE Should Take a Risk On (Updated)

Over the past few months, its seems that WWE has a constant formula and the same names in the title frame. As much as i like the likes of Cena, Edge, Orton etc it would be nice to see someone new with the world straps. As much as i don't like Swagger and Sheamus, they were refreshing and kept me interested, although Sheamus is starting to grain on TV Time.

The Miz

When he first came on the scene, i have to admit, i hated him. He was like nails down a chalk board. But over the past twelve months he has really impressed me. His attitude has been second to none. His character has really developed and i can see him fitting into an early Rock role.

I can see him as a self-centred, egotistical, arrogant S.O.B that the fans will despise and count the days tll the title gets ripped from around his waste.

Personally though, i think he will only be a transitional champ. He is a mid-carder which is a shame. He was getting a massive push but over the past few weeks that push seems to have gone stale.

Title belt i would like him to win: The WWE Belt (Raw)

John Morrison

Again another one of those guys that when they come on the scene you just think this is a pretty boy mid-carder at best. But over the years he has really developed, especially since leaving MNM which in my opinion was the best think that ever could have happened to him.

He is very athletic, and entertaining on the mike at times, but other times i find him quite awkward and forced when he is trying to communicate.

He definately stands out from competitors with his physique, the only think that i believe would stop him from achieving the title is his looks. A world champ should look rough, ruggid and look like he would kick sevens shades out of you and unfortunately i dont see the ruthlessness in Morrison.

World Title Id Like Him To Win: World Heavyweight (Smackdown)

Matt Hardy

    Matt Hardy

This is a guy that the WWE has wasted. He is one of the most obvious fan favourites that when ever i have been in an arena to watch the show live always seems to get one of the biggest pops.

The guy excels at both heel and face personas. I believe that with his skills in the ring, his mike skills and his worth ethic he would excel as world champ. Fans would buy into him and do everything in their power to help him succeed. Just look what happened with his bro Jeff when he became world champ.

The only reason he has never become world champ is he has always had bigger names and attractions in his way when it was his time. On his day Matt can steal the show, but recently he seems to lack confidence and has got quite fat or chunky so to speak. Maybe the championship would help take Matt finally to where he belongs, on Main Event Status.

World Championship id like him to win: World Heavyweight (Smackdown)

Wade Barrett

Of all the series one NXT, i personally liked Wade and Gabriel. It was obvious that Wade would win. Now with the NEXUS storyline, it is important that he gets the strap to prolong it. Although giving him the belt would have longer knock on effects if it fails ( i cant see Wade doing much if it does ), it could be a really good momentous occasion.

He is strong, looks like he could kick the living daylights out of his opponents. Needs to be more dominating in singles and not heavily rely on his Nexus buddies. He has been improving oni the mike too so could keep the crowds interested.

Even like the english accent. Even though the WWE really do get the english characters to really put these on, it seems to have worked with Wade. If Wade gets the belt i would like Nexus to clean up and win all the belts on offer, tags etc.

World Championsip Id Like To See Him Win: WWE Championship (Raw)

Ted Di Biase

This guy is pure class. He is slick, talented, unique and very skilled in the ring. Was superb in his role in legacy although i feel he is stale playing his old mans gimmick as the wealthy million. Although he has tried to add a modern twist on the character i just cannot see longevity in it.

If he improves the character it would be good for the bloke to do something his dad never did and win the world championship. If he does then i feel that he can really make his character his own. With his gimmick can bring more revenue for the company as well through merchandisng new products.

World Championship id like to see him win: World Heavyweight while keeping the million dollar belt (Smackdown)

CM Punk

I know he has been champion already. But with the new SES Gimmick, i feel that it will take this to the next level and allow the straight edged superstar to really go back to where be belongs on Main Event Status.

This will also take the SES into the stables of similar quality like Evolution, Four Horsemen etc. I know that is quite the statement when you think that it has Joey Mercury and former Festus in the group but they are easily ditched, just ask Serena lol

This also provides again excellent revenue opportunities with SES Merchandise to promote the Safe, Straight Edge Lifestyle.

Championship id like to see him win: World Heavyweight (Smackdown)

Alberto Del Rio

    Alberto Del Rio

He has only been on Smackdown a week but the guy has lots of potential. Could become one of the most hated heels in history with his character, style, ruthlessness and that cheeky smile afterwards.

He is definately trying to influence the audience with all the things most people hate in his character.

Any championship will do to enhance this guy in his short career with the WWE so far. But he has been around a long time.
