Santana Exits Game After 5 Innings and 65 Pitches

After pitching 5 innings of 1 run ball against the Atlanta Braves tonight Johan Santana was removed from the game.

There was no sign of an injury although the team’s trainer could be seen talking to Jerry Manuel in the dugout in the top of the 6th. At this point, all we have is speculation:
