If I Were Felipe Massa, I'd Be on Suicide Watch...
It was a heartbreak! It was devastating. It was worse than, oh, I don't know, anything!
Just imagine this, you're within three laps of winning a race, and your engine goes kaboom! This scenario happened to be Felipe Massa's Hungarian Grand Prix, and I can imagine all the crying he's doing.
If I were a driver, I'd be sobbing a Niagara Falls.

I feel for Felipe and the team, who put a lot of effort into him to get within those three laps of winning the Hungarian Grand Prix.
However, as a fan, I realized that this is just a sport. I'm not one of those overzealous fans that immediately yells "CONSPIRACY" when a penalty has been handed down.
I'm certainly not one of those fans who go nuts when a spectacular pass has been made, although I did do the latter when Kimi made the pass on Giancarlo Fisichella in 2005 at Suzuka.
As a fan, I have the mentality that it's happened now, but my man will bounce back in the next race.
I did that with Kimi Raikkonen when he was at McLaren and it didn't happen. I did that with Raikkonen last year and I was over the moon! The feeling was awesome, but a new season came and the only indication of Kimi being champ is the No. 1 on his Ferrari.
What does a fan stand to gain or lose when their driver wins or goes out on fire? I hear bragging rights, but I really don't know what else.
Now, as a driver, in something like this, I'd be so devastated that I would be crying and probably be put on suicide watch by the team.
When it comes to Felipe Massa, I feel for him, but I realize that I never hedged any bets, I wasn't waving any Brazilian flags, I was just watching the race.
I feel better, and I hope that Felipe feels better too. He lost it, but tomorrow's the first day of the rest of your life.
Come on Felipe, come on Ferrari, don't let the McMercs ruin your day!
