UFC 117 Breaking News: Rick Story and Dustin Hazelett Set To Square Off

Bleacher Report MMA has confirmed that Rick Story and Dustin Hazelett have agreed to meet at UFC 117 when the Las Vegas-based promotion makes its way to Oakland on Aug. 7, 2010.

According to a source close to Story, the Brave Legion welterweight has signed on to face Hazelett in a welterweight bout that puts together two of the division's top ten fighters.

Story (10-3) is coming off a split decision win over Nick Osipczak at UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi.  The 170-pound fighter is on a three-fight win streak and another "w" could potentially put in talks for top 5 in the division.

Hazelett (12-5) is coming off a devastating loss to Paul Daley at UFC 108 back in January.  A left hook was all it took for Daley to put down the jiu-jitsu expert, earning "Knockout of the Night" honors in the process.

Here is what the current UFC 117 lineup looks like:

Champ Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen
Thiago Alves vs. Jon Fitch*
Junior Dos Santos vs. Roy Nelson*
Ricardo Almeida vs. Matt Hughes*
Rafael dos Anjos vs. Clay Guida*

Tim Boetsch vs. Thiago Silva*
Dennis Hallman vs. Ben Saunders*
Dustin Hazelett vs. Rick Story*

*fights not offically confirmed by the UFC
