"We're going streaking!," with those immortal words, Frank the Tank revealed to the world what most already know—a pastime within a pastime—streaking.

Be it England or Estonia, America or Australia, Canada or Cameroon, one universal theme of sport which can occur within the venue of another sport is the true international phenomena known as streaking.

Underdeveloped nations, developed nations, despotic nations all have their revelers in this class of person (athlete if you will) in a class all of their own. Balanced on a mixture of insanity and inebriation, fans of all sports—be it baseball, basketball, cricket, football, rugby, soccer (football to non-Yanks), and even golf and horse racing—participate in this non-discriminatory sport.

It takes no particular talent—size doesn't matter, though "exposure" does—we present to you the next international phenomena in sport—streaking.

In this soccer World Cup year—arguably the most popular international sport recognized by mainstream society—we make a case for the mainstream sport for all society—the individual known as "The Streaker."

(For the full effect and consistency with the description, see the video.)

15. Baseball: Kansas City Royals at Detroit Tigers

"Take, me out to the ball game / Take me out with the crowd / Buy some peanuts and cracker jacks / I dont care if I never come back."

This fan likely will not be returning to Comerica Park in Detroit anytime soon but in a recession starved market, nothing beats the overweight drunk guy—except the security guard who managed to topple him over.

14. Basketball: Put That Away

Looks like on this night someone else was the cheerleader. The Blue Devils would be proud of this little devil running across the floor and into the group of legends.

13. NFL Football: The Bengals Could Use This Guy

In a preseason blow out of the Packers, the Bengals fans got in on the action.

One fan stripped the quarterback and nearly scored the touchdown but alas Cincinnati's off the field defense (i.e. security) proved better than the eventual 8-8 Bengals.

This fine strip of the quarterback and defensive stop should have had the Bengals thinking contract instead of prosecution.

12. Horse Racing: No You Didn't

Big Brown has nothing on this soon to be ex-bachelor (though if he actually got married after this is a mystery to all).

It looks like he came in fourth but the slippery turf did not help his finish—just the face plant.

11. World Football: Mascots as Villains

Here a mascot plays security guard—what a way to go out, to get taken out by the fluffy guy!

10. College Baseball: Texas at Nebraska

Cornhuskers and Longhorns, do we really care? What we do care about is this guy! If the track team does not have Forrest on it, this guy would be lightning with shoes on!

9. Cricket

Americans really do not understand this sport but it is the predecessor of baseball. Here we see a gentleman with twigs and berries swinging to the wind before he gets leveled by a cricket batter. Yes, I said leveled by a cricket batter.

8. NFL Football: Super Bowl XXXVII Intentional Wardrobe Malfunction

On an international stage, one man defied all to become the next Janet Jackson.

Half time shows may never be the same but this gentleman stepped up and out.

7. Soccer: How Do You Really Feel?

Streakers generally go for the venue where not only they can expose but also have the most exposure. Soccer fans have a particular following of streakers. The fields are large, the fans are loud, and the opportunity abundant.

This young man keeps himself covered with a little bit of a logo.

6. NFL, Giants-Dolphins: Don't Touch That Football

We all knew that the referee was an ass but we did not want to see his!

One fan decided to go incognito so he could surpise these two teams.

5. Rugby

I knew rugby was a tough sport, but this must be the elite division.

Lesson 101 of streaking: Do not prance or jog because you are going to have a very short adventure.

This streaker became a rag doll for someone who apparently was a security guard. If that is a security guard then imagine how rough that sport is!

4. College Football

The Vikings are invading!

Looks like a Penn State versus Notre Dame game, I cannot tell. What I do see is a streaker who not only ran the field but got away. Another Hall of Fame candidate.

3. Soccer: Celtic vs. Porto

Streaking is a multi-dimensional sport as this participant shows.

It is not only the antics of streaking but how the sport or venue is interfered with. Here a streaker not only makes it across the field, but nearly scores on a professional goalie, who by the way played this one through and blocked the shot.

The streaker went down in the penalty box—that has to be a free kick.

2. Soccer: Style and Props

What also makes soccer such a supportive environment for streakers are the multitude of readily available props. Here a fan manages to get the ball, do a handstand, and dance with a corner flag. He gets on the field then off of it. Oh by the way, this is a fake....

1. Soccer and Football Collide!

Another streaker 101 lesson from our friends at Nike.

Here football players show they can be security guards , too.
