Arsenal: Arsene Wenger Eyes Signings
The Arsenal youngsters were involved in a friendly yesterday and ran out 2-1 winners against Barnet F.C. The likes of Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott, Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna featured for 45 minutes but youngsters Nacer Barazite and Jay Simpson stole the show with two well taken goals.
The most impressive player on the pitch was Jack Wilshere, who looks like an absolutely phenomenal prospect. He was involved in the build up of both Arsenal goals and looks very promising for the future.
What was of more interest to most Arsenal fans, though, was what Arsene Wenger would say in the post-match comments—and he had a lot to say.

When asked whether Emmanuel Adebayor will be an Arsenal player next year, Wenger replied with a cheeky smile and said, "Of course."
He went on to add that he expected Adebayor to turn up to practice tomorrow, with the other first team players also expected to link up with the youngsters before the squad head out to Austria for their pre-season training camp.
When asked about potential new faces at Arsenal, Wenger replied, "two maximum, but one certainly."
Arsenal are yet to finalise the deal involving Werder Bremen's Amaury Bischoff as Werder are due compensation to be determined by a UEFA tribunal, so Arsene Wenger will, it seems, definitely sign two players with a replacement for Gilberto Silva and Mathieu Flamini being high on his list of priorities.
The Arsenal boss went on to add that the Emirates Cup will give him and everyone else a good indication of how the Arsenal squad could shape up in time for next season.
So, with pre-season starting on a good note and the manager determined to add to his squad, Arsenal fans can be rest assured that Arsenal will be challenging for honours next season.
