Feeling Unlucky: TNA IMPACT! SlamBack!
Tonight's IMPACT was sure to leave us frothing at the mouth, but what happened tonight can only be summed up for everybody involved with one simple phrase:
"Sorry about your damn luck!"
The show opened with highlights from a controversial Victory Road followed by the arrival of the self proclaimed TNA World Champion Booker T.

Offseason Moves for Every Team š
Booker starts to give an acceptance speech as if he were the champion...that is until Jim Cornette comes out and orders him to give the title back to the real champion, Samoa Joe. All of a sudden, Joe comes out and tells Booker to hold on to it for two reasons: 1) While he has that, he's a target for him. 2) At Hard Justice, he's taking the gold and a piece of his @$$ with him.
In the back, an irate Beer Money Inc. is making it clear that they're taking their revenge out on everyone even near the IMPACT Zone tonight. With that, they grab Lauren and head to the outside. Also, Kaz opens up and admits that he let all of TNA, especially the X Division, down at Victory Road.
First Bout: Petey Williams defeats Kaz (TNA X Division Championship)
Both men are going head to head at the start, but a hard Irish whip and hurracanrana give Petey control. Kaz bounces back with a clothesline. As Petey goes for the Canadian Destroyer, Kaz counters into a modified piledriver.
Following a distraction from Rhaka Khan, Kaz hits the Wave of the Future, but Petey manages to kick out. After a top rope roll up, Petey uses the tights to get the victory and retain the X Division Championship.
Back from break, Joe is in Cornette's office when Kevin Nash comes in to apologize to the champion. Nash goes on to say that if Joe starts doubting himself, he doesn't deserve to be champion. In the production truck, BMI is living up to their word as they start strapping everyone in the truck.
Back on IMPACT, Kurt Angle and Team 3D show up in Sting's trademark attire while Curry Man and Shark Boy are the second victims of Beer Money's assault.
Second & Third Bout: Matt Morgan defeat Rock & Rave Infection
Jimmy Rave has the first shot Morgan. Rave tries to get control but meets a bicycle kick for his troubles. Christy Hemme runs to the back to get some help during Morgan's snap fest. After a big splash in the corner, Morgan nails The Blueprint to pick up the win. Following the match, Morgan is called out by the man now known as Lance Rock.
Morgan has little trouble with the man formerly known as Hoyt as he drops a fall away slam. Christy gets involved and allows Lance to get brief control. But Morgan recovers and nails another bicycle kick and big splash in the corner. He then nails The Blueprint to pick up his second victory of the night much to the dismay of Hemme.
In the back, Cornette has announced to the Knockouts that since they can't agree on a #1 contender, there will be a 10-Knockout Gauntlet Match, and the winner will face Taylor Wilde next week for the TNA Knockouts Championship.
Back on IMPACT, Beer Money continue their assault, this time on security and any fans in their path while Team Angle makes their way to the ring. They come out to boast their victory at Victory Road and persuade Sting to join his group. As Angle pleads his case, Team Styles comes out and defends Sting's actions. Brother Ray starts to bite off more than they can chew and assumes that they want a rematch.
Christian Cage grabs the mike and says that the match won't happen at Hard Justice, and it won't be just any tables match. Cage raises the stakes and says that next week on IMPACT, the six men will face off in a five-way elimination tables match!
Fourth Bout: 10-Knockouts Gauntlet Match (Winner-Velvet Sky)
Jacqueline and Gail start off the over the top rope match. As Jackie has Kim in an armbar, Angelina Love comes in to finish the job, but instead, she starts a fight with Jackie. Following a spinning kick from Love, Kim goes down as Salinas joins the fray. While Salinas tries to toss Love, and Kim focuses on Jackie, Velvet Sky comes in to help Love with the double team on Salinas.
Roxxi joins the party and heads straight for The Beautiful People when Rhaka Khan makes her down. In the process, Salinas becomes the first one taken out of the Gauntlet. Rhaka shows early domination as Traci Brooks comes in to break down the Nubian Giant. Before IMPACT goes to break, Hemme and ODB become the final two to join the party.
Back on the show, it is confirmed that Rhaka Khan, Christy Hemme, Traci Brooks, ODB, Roxxi and Jacqueline are eliminated from the battle royal, leaving Gail Kim to face The Beautiful People. Angelina miscues her kick and nails Velvet instead. Gail sends Angelina outside and kicks her out of the match. But Kim gets caught in a roll up by Sky. Velvet Sky uses an Edge move to propel her way to her first title shot as she will face Taylor Wilde next week for the gold.
In the back, Booker has picked his opponent (Consequences Creed) and the match for the main event (Stretcher Match).
Fifth Bout: The Guru defeats Johnny Devine & Eric Young (Triple Threat)
Devine and Dutt try to double team Eric, but Johnny takes control after Dutt is sent outside by Eric Young. Eric recovers and takes out both men. After an EY Slam, Dutt jumps in, takes out Eric's left knee and picks up the victory. After the match, Jay Lethal comes in and assaults Sonjay, until Val runs down to save...Sonjay Dutt? Is this girl in love with him? I think this proves that.
Back on IMPACT, Beer Money comes out to the IMPACT Zone and pulls a fan out of the crowd. After whipping the fan, the refs and security, they drag Hector Guerrero to the ring, cuff him to the corner and whip him senseless. LAX comes in to save their familia from the assault. In the back, Kurt Angle is giving Tomko a mission (ruin Karen's talk show debut) and says that during next week's main event, Sting will be there in his corner.
Main Event: Booker T defeats Consequences Creed (Stretcher Match)
Booker drops Creed with an arm drag and belly to back suplex to gain control. Booker toys with Creed to start, but Creed starts fighting back with punches and the Consequences Clothesline. After a body splash, Booker rolls out of the ring for a breather.
Back on the show, Booker has control with a spin kick, but Creed continues to fight back. Following the Axe Kick, Booker throws Creed to the outside, and after a few knee shots to the head, he throws Creed onto the stretcher to pick up the win. Booker follows the EMTs out to the ambulance, but as Sharmell opens the backdoors, Samoa Joe jumps out and pummels his Hard Justice opponent.
As the ambulance drives away, Sharmell tries to hit Joe with a black baseball bat. As Joe demands to know who gave the bat to her, Sharmell runs after the ambulance carrying her husband. The show ends with Joe dropping the bat to the ground and looking for The Icon Sting.
Just to recap: Next week, Velvet Sky faces Taylor Wilde for the Knockouts Championship. The Motor City Machine Guns face Beer Money in a Strap Match. Team Angle faces Team Styles in a five-way Elimination Tables Match. Plus the Return of Sting!
See ya tomorrow for Friday Night SmackDown!
