Shaun Marcum, Toronto Blue Jays

Marcum got a no-decision despite allowing one run on four hits with five Ks over seven innings. He’s 0-1 with a 3.44 ERA.

David Eckstein, San Diego Padres

Eckstein went 3-for-5 with a run to raise his average to .279.

Jon Garland, San Diego Padres

Garland went six innings for the win. He gave up one run on three hits with 10 Ks to improve to 2-2 with a 2.57 ERA.

Cliff Pennington, Oakland A’s

Pennington went 4-for-5 with a HR and four RBI to raise his average to .265. He has 15 RBI already.

Adam Rosales, Oakland A’s

Rosales also had four hits (4-for-4) with a run and an RBI. He’s now hitting .313.

Pat Burrell, Tampa Bay Rays

Burrell went 1-for-4 with a HR and three RBI. He’s hitting .231 with 12 RBI.

Livan Hernandez, Washington Nationals

Livan gave up one run in seven innings to beat the Cubs and improve to 3-1 with a 0.87 ERA.

Edgar Renteria, San Francisco Giants

Renteria went 3-for-4 with a run and two RBI to bring his average up to .314.

Asdrubal Cabrera, Cleveland Indians

Cabrera went 4-for-5 with two runs to raise his average to .301.

Austin Kearns, Cleveland Indians

Kearns went 3-for-6 with two runs, a HR, and five RBI. He’s hitting .386.

Mitch Talbot, Cleveland Indians

You wouldn’t know the Indians were struggling if you based it on Talbot’s games. He gave up one run in 6.1 innings to improve to 3-1 with a 2.05 ERA.
