WWE Extreme Rules 2010: BR Prediction League Results

Josh LoganApr 26, 2010

After a night of "Extreme," the WWE Universe, and our beloved League has been reshaped.

There were stretchers, cages, spears, ironing boards, sneak attacks, masked men, and worst of all, duck tape.

Who walked away with the Championship belts?

Is CM Punk bald?

Could the Diva's put on a decent match for once at a PPV?

Results

Though this match does not count towards any ones final point score, ShowMiz, may they rest in peace, fought three teams, eventually losing to the Heart Dynasty.

(I graded the B2, 3 points to those who guessed B1 correctly, 2 points to those who guessed the Tag Titles, and 1 point to everyone else)

CM Punk and his growing Straightedge army walked away victorious over Rey Mysterio.

I would like to be the first one to say welcome Rey to the darkside.

JTG sneaked a victory passed, My Tyme, Shade Gaspard.

The outcome of the match confused my understanding of a Strap Match, but since the match was terrible to begin with I didn't really care.

(For all of you who picked JTG to win, you were awarded the 2 points for the Upset Award)

Triple H fell victim to a godawful number of bicycle kicks by Sheamus.

With victory in his grasp and pale skin covering his body, the Irish Wonder decimated his opponent before, during and after the match, causing Triple H to be carted away on a stretcher.

(The funny moment here is when the EMT's and training staff couldn't make the stretcher rise, so they pushed it, all three inches off the ground, into the back)

Jack Swagger proved to everyone who doubted him that he is deserving of his Championship and that he can go toe to toe with any competitor in the WWE.

Beth Phoenix walked away as giddy as a school girl during the end of Lent when she clawed her way to victory against LayCool.

Against all the odds of spray cans, blush and even the occasional ironing board, (which was really borderline terrible) the Diva's put on one of the better performed matches that merely, did not just pick up with two minutes left in the match.

Edge finally put the nail in the coffin of Y2J as he Spear, Spear, Spear, Spear, speared him into defeat.

And last but not least, (ok yes, it is very much the least) John Cena ducktapes himself to victory in by far, the strangest and most bogus ends to a Last Man Standing match.

(I'm pretty sure that the original rules for said match was the count starts when your opponent is incapacitated, not screaming and clawing at you because he's been hogtied to a steal post)

Overall grade for the PPV was: C-
