Brilliant!  Unbelievably brilliant!  2010 will go down in history as the best draft ever for many teams, with The Raiders leading the way, taking the team Beyond Excellence and into the playoffs!

Coach Cable said in his post draft address to the media that Al, he the coaches and the scouting team were united with their plan of attack in this year’s draft.  WOW! This has never been so evident.  Guess there is something to be said for continuity and keeping Cable!  The Raiders acquired Champions, Athletes, Projects, Need fillers and best of all, Quality football players all in one.

And let’s not forget the trades to bring in two instant starters and one project, Campbell, Wimbley and Groves.

Here is another very interesting tidbit from Coach Cable when responding to the plan for playing Lamarr Houston at DE.  He said they had a plan... guess here is that we will be sliding Seymour in and bringing in another DT.  Imagine Houston, Seymour, Kelly and Shaughnessy on the DL?  Has to be one of the biggest defensive lines in the NFL along with Minnesota and Baltimore.  And I LOVE the fact that we will be playing different fronts this year keeping opponents off guard; OUTSTANDING!!!!

And how could you not notice how giddy Coach Cable was when talking about Veldheer and Campbell, HIS two new toys!  Naysayers can argue all they want about whether or not Coach Cable is Head Coach material, but there is NO ONE, who can argue his aptitude for coaching up the offensive line.  With Hue in the house, Cable will have our offensive line playing all-world.  Can't wait to see Campbell terrorizing opponents because he is pissed off about being a 4th round selection!  Might even replace Cooper day one!  As for Henderson and Barnes, they will have a high draft pick all up in their Kool-Aid for a starting job!  Guess here is Henderson and Veldheer start at the tackle positions.

Welcome back special teams!!!  The competition between last year’s rookie free agent sensation, Nick Miller, former special teams ace Yeoman Figures and this year’s 4th round selection thanx to the Captain Kirk trade, Jacoby Ford.

A brief moment to say thanx Kirk for your heart and exuding Raider pride!

Is there anything that can be said about bringing in Jason Campbell to quarterback our team other than it cost a measly 4th rounder in 2012!  YES!!! So long Jamarcus! YAHOO!!!! A legitimate NFL starting caliber quarterback!! Our wideouts should be ecstatic and working their tails off because e they know in 2010 it’s game on!

Lastly, I LOVE  the pickup of McFadden.  He will be outstanding!

Guess New England will be drafting our former number one pick in the 2011 draft somewhere in the high twenties!  The AFC west is ours!
