Besides the fact that Mc louth almost tied the ballgame in the ninth the Braves looked horrible for a before season second place finish popular pick. The Mets capitilized on Brave errors such as the the dropped pop upin the seventh inning. Here are the positives and the negatives for the game

+Hisanori Takahashi did a fantastic job relieving John Maine after is left arm injury in the 4th inning

+David Wright drove in 2 ribs andbay had a triple, aswell as Reyes.

+Ike Davis hit his first homerun as a Met this year.

-John Maine got taken out of the game in the 4th after having discomfort in his lefy arm

-9th inning got a little scary when mc louth almost tied the game

+Kenshin Kawakami was pretty good except that he left some occassional hangers here or there

+ Omar infante went 3-4 the only real positve spark in the Braves lineup tonight

-Jason Heyward looked awful today after striking out 3 times ,not worried though he will bounce back

-The Braves offense managed to only plate two runs as the offense continued to struggle.

-The Braves commited 4 errors one led by Chipper Jones afetr dropping a  pop up and screwing uo the infield fly rule

So who will take sercond now and win the wild card, I say the Mets a good offense and amazing pitching and good defense so far has cause them to win 4 out of therte last 5.Sorry atlanta maybe next year
