Tonight was a great night for ECW, as it saw the reunion of arguably the greatest tag team of this era, Matt and Jeff Hardy. The show opened with highlights from last week's main event between Mark Henry and Tommy Dreamer.

As the show went live, Taz was in the ring with his new "buddy" Tony Atlas. Atlas claims that he would rather be next to the Silverback than in his path.

To show this, Henry decides to bend an actual frying pan. Before the showboating can continue, Tommy Dreamer comes out to bend a pan of his own...right on Henry's head!

In the back, Teddy Long sends Dreamer away for the evening for laying the "pandown" on Henry's cranium.

First Bout: Mike Knox defeats Shannon Moore

Knox shows the size advantage with a brick wall off the ropes and a belly-to-belly butterfly suplex. Moore recovers after a miss and lands a hurracanrana, but gets caught in a backbreaker and Knox Landing to pick up a loss in his return to WWE.

Second Bout: Evan Bourne defeats Chavo Guerrero

Bourne had control with dropkicks and armabars until Chavo sent him off the top rope. Chavo had control with a headlock until Bourne hit a series of kicks, followed by a standing moonsault. After blocking a splash from Chavo, Bourne nailed the Bourne Identity to pick up the victory.

In the back, Henry and Atlas attacked Colin Delaney for Tommy's "Panhandling" earlier in the evening.

Main Event: The Hardys defeat The Dirt Sheet

Matt had control of Miz to start the match. Jeff came in off a leaping dropkick. Morrison came in, only to get laid out with a legdrop and reverse suplex.

The Shaman used a blind tag from Miz to give the Sheet the advantage. Matt used a leg sweep to tag in Jeff, who came with a clothesline and donkey kick. Following the Poetry in Motion, Morrison pulled his partner to the outside for a quick break.

Back on ECW, Morrison had a rear naked choke applied to Jeff. Miz came in, but missed the Mizard. Morrison came in and dropped Jeff with a backbreaker and Russian Leg Sweep, but Hardy dropped him with a jawbreaker.

Hardy nailed Miz with the Whisper in the Wind, and tagged in Matt. Matt came in and dropped Morrison with a huge clothesline. He then dropped Morrison with a powerbomb from the corner.

After Morrison hit the Moonlight Drive, Jeff came in while the ref is occupied and hit the Swanton Bomb on the Tuesday Night Delight to give The Hardys a victory over the WWE Tag Team Champions.

After three straight losses, how will the champs recover from this streak? And now that The Hardys have beaten them, does this mean a possible triple threat for the gold at the Bash? Tune into SmackDown! for all the late breaking news and don't miss The Great American Bash this Sunday!

That is a very interesting idea Ron. Having a triple-threat featuring the Hardys. Even though last night was a "one-time only" showing of those two, it is possible that they may team up a bit more in order to bring back the tag-team brackets in the WWE.
