Should Dunga Call up Neymar?
Neymar has quickly become a sensation in Brazil for his club Santos. Forming a dangerous strike partnership with on loan Robinho, Neymar has terrorized defenses all season.
He has reportedly attracted interest from European clubs such as Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester City, AC Milan, and Chelsea.
Neymar has been hailed by Brazilians all around as the new Pele, the new Robinho, and even the new Messi, with some newspapers referring to him as "NeyMessi."

Now, Brazilians are calling for Dunga to forget Ronaldinho and Ronaldo and instead to call young Neymar up to the Brazilian squad.
But should such a young player be called up to such a big event? Many believe that youth like Neymar can make a great impression on the World Cup, and the tournament, in turn, can make a great impression on them.
Let's take a look first at Neymar's credentials and why he should be called up. First of all, he's young, meaning an endless flow of energy and a sometimes unmatchable desire to play for the sake of playing.
Playing for the sake of playing provides so many benefits.
One benefit is the ability to express oneself on the field completely. If the player isn't restrained or pressured too much, then he can have fun on the field. A perfect example of this is Lionel Messi.
Neymar also provides some real flair, one thing that is lacking from the current Brazilian squad. Despite Brazil's ability to win matches efficiently, they lack the flair that has characterized squads in the past.
Neymar provides the flair that is lacking from this squad.
However, there are definitely some cons to adding Neymar to the squad. First of all, Neymar is inexperienced and may make mistakes that could cost Brazil.
Secondly, during the time that Dunga has been in charge of the team, he has developed the team so that it has a disciplined, no-nonsense approach to the game. This is one of the reasons that players like Ronaldo and Ronaldinho have not been chosen in recent months.
Another criticism would be that Neymar hasn't been tested in different environments. So far, he's only played in Brazil, and the teams that Santos have gone up against are relatively weak.
Neymar did play in the last U-17 World Cup, but he didn't exactly light the tournament up. Brazil were knocked out in the group stages.
One benefit of having Neymar on the squad might be the understanding and chemistry between him and Robinho. Since both play for Santos, both know what they expect of the other.
However, this approach might have some consequences. If Neymar is put in next to Robinho, then Luis Fabiano must be relinquished to the bench, and a proven goalscorer like Fabiano should get a starting role.
Plus, Fabiano has not only a good understanding with Robinho, he also knows how the rest of the team plays, something that Neymar doesn't have.
In the end, I don't believe Dunga should call up Neymar for this World Cup. Neymar is definitely a talented player filled with the potential to do great things. This is why Neymar should develop more at Santos.
When he's ready to move on, a move to Europe would do him nothing but good.
By 2014, Neymar should be ready to show the world what he's all about at the 2014 World Cup in his native country.
