There’s a lot to like about the White Sox in this one, starting with the pitching match-up. Ace Mark Buehrle goes for Chicago tonight, and he’s been nothing short of spectacular. Buehrle is 2-0 with a 2.40 ERA and 0.933 WHIP through two starts against the Twins and this same Indians’ team. Buehrle allowed just 3 hits and 1 walk in 7 scoreless innings against Cleveland in his opening day start. It was his second straight start against Cleveland in which he didn’t allow a single run.

Mitch Talbot goes for Cleveland, and he would not be a starter on almost any other team in the league. It’s just that the Indians’ starting staff is so weak that they have no other choice but to start Talbot, who gave up 4 earned runs on 6 hits and 5 walks in a loss against Detroit in his first start. Buehrle is 15-1 against the money line when the money line is -100 to -150 over the last 2 seasons. He’ll have no problem mowing down this Cleveland line-up that is averaging just 3.2 RPG this season, and 2.3 RPG at home. Bet the White Sox.
