If Lakers Make The NBA Finals Again....

If the Lakers make the Finals again, somethings gotta give. If the Lakers make and win the Finals, something is up. I've lost my faith in professional basketball, but I do from time to time watch some games and give proper respect to great players such as Kevin Durant and Lebron James. Ever since the Tim Donaghy Scandal, alot of questions were answered on the years leading up to the announcement. Then after the scandal there have been some coincidences after the scandal. This truly my opinion based on facts. You are free to disagree, but here goes anyway. It is just something I always wanted to say.

1. Boston Celtics. Now before you jump on my back, hear me out. I don't have anything against the Green,but I would rather see the Celtics win the NBA title than to sit there watching them horrible yellow and purple jersey sporters hoist another NBA trophy. After the retirement of the original Big 3 in Boston; BIRD, McHALE, and PARRISH, the Celtics were on the decline to obsurity to almost non-existant in the late 90's to early 2000's. Then the aquistions of Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen, made another return of the Big 3, Garnett, Allen and Paul Pierce. On that same year they made it all the way to NBA Finals and return an NBA title back to Boston. Now I was thinking at least make it the next year, but then again the San Francisco 49ers did it in 1994, making big name aquisitions and winning a world title in the same year. Here is the question now, why are the Celtics on the decline again? They practically have the same championshio personel except for Rasheed Wallace; what a dummy scoring for the Bulls. Now Doc Rivers might retire, What is going on?

2. Miami Heat. Should've been first on the list but oh well. Don't have anything against them but I'll summarize my point. The Heat could NOT win when Alonzo Mourning was THE center, Tim Hardaway was point, and Mr. Moves Rony Seikaly was there. Then the Heat drafted Dwayne Wade and aquire the Shaq Attack. Miami Heat wins NBA title. Shaq traded, Miami Heat can't win, forget playoffs.

3. Los Angeles Lakers. Where do I start. Why are the Lakers still called the Lakers, there are no Great Lakes in Southern California. The history of the LA Lakers comes down to this, Lakers CAN NOT win without a dominant big man; Wilt chamberlain, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Shaq O'Neal, and now Pau Gasol. Now Vlade Divac was there when the Lakers made back to back runs against Detroit and Chicago but the Detroit Bad Boys were too popular and Micheal Jordan was taking over as the FACE of the NBA, not to mention Phil Jackson was coaching the Bulls against the Lakers in 1991. Now Shaq was right when Shaq freestyled rapped about Kobe can't win it without me(SHAQ). The Celtics spanked Kobe's ass as if Kobe were in a Colorado prison. You see Kobe should NOT be playing basketball at this time should NOT be even playing for an NBA Title for that matter. Kobe should be playing ball in a prison court yard. What stood in the way between Kobe and an NBA Title later on, was the Rape Shield Laws. The Rape Shield Laws is a federal law and because the judge presiding the Rape case, was too intimidated by Kobe Bryant's celebrity status, the judge premitted kobe's defense to use the victims sexually history as a defense. The Rape Shield Laws prevents defense lawyers to use victim's sexually history as a defense and to protect the victim. Judges and lawyers can be disbarred if these laws are broken.

Pau Gasol, literally aquired for nothing. Gregg Popavich has a legit argument. Lakers have there big man piece of the puzzle. Derek Fisher, scum bucket-POS, Can't win anywhere else. Could NOT shoot for jack with the Warriors and could NOT win with the Jazz; believe that Fisher CAN NOT win with the Jazz, Jazz-playoff contenders almost every season. Derek had to get out but Utah still holds his contract, can't get out, can't be traded, you know don't want to be shipped out too far from Laker reach. So Fisher used his family's medical conditions to retire from basketball, stating that his daughter really needs him and that she has to go through so many medical procedures and had to leave the NBA. Like the cockroach he is, He's back one year later to the team he can only function properly, Lakers. Doesn't that look suspicious, the ink on the Utah Jazz contract is not even dry yet, retired, then back to the Lakers. Hmmmm......

Lamar Odom....and the Kardashian girl....I guess that is the only way Odom is gonna get some spotlight. Kobe Bryant's ball hogging ain't helping your career Odom. Phil Jackson...for someone who claims to be a Zen Master, you are pretty F'ing annoying. He doesn't run the Triangle Offense as much, instead it looks more like a Fresh Prince of Bel Air episode where the Offense is now called " Just pass it to Kobe! ". Now that is just my rant on the Lakers. Lets get to the conspiracy of the Lakers.

So they lose to the Celtics in the NBA Finals the last year and making another run the next year. There was nobody to oppose the Lakers in the West. Lebron is that much closer to the NBA finals and hoping to erase the stigma of the City of Cleveland of being snakebitten and Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy looks like a great coach and Miami made a mistake. Which is the better headline? Kobe CAN win without Shaq, Lebron brings home Cleveland's first ever major sports championship., Or Stan Van Gundy telling Miami to SUCK IT! In all honesty, I wanted to see Lebron in the Finals. That would've showed that you can get into finals with what you got, not from big name aquistions during the season. The Chicago Bulls did it in the 90's. I guess Dark Forces conspired and said I think people would want to see Kobe win it all without Shaq and lets put Orlando, Kobe doesn't have to deal with Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol will. This will be great, two great centers going at it at the NBA finals, this will be a classic battle. Stan Van Gundy can tell Miami to shove it. Cleveland didn't have a center, just someone playing the position. Cavs don't a point guard, just someone playing the part. Cavs have a forward but Odom can't handle James. It's settled Lakers versus Magic for the NBA title. Lakers nearly sweep Orlando in a lackluster Finals. A final just to debunk the myth that Kobe can't win without Shaq. And now this year's NBA finals who will it be? I'm not trying to say the NBA is bad, a fraud, I mean just look at it....Does it look a bit dicey? Something movie scripters could come up with. Or can everything just be coincidental? I don't Know,but I know this the Lakers are Number 1 in the West...again....What's next, Kobe can win multiple titles without Shaq. I'll tell you this Kobe Bryant, You can win without Shaq, but you CAN NOT win without a dominant big man;...Pau Gasol...Kobe won the NBA title without Shaq, but Kobe won the title because Kobe had another dominate big man. It still shows that Kobe can't win it by himself and as long there is someone crowding the inside, Kobe is free to ball hog. To all you Kobe, Lakers fans....Kobe still can't win it on his own......Michael Jordan won 6 titles without a dominate big man, How come Kobe can't do that? Kobe Bryant is the best ever right? Squash that talk....Kobe Bryant sucks and should not be playing basketball, he should be in prison serving time instead of serving up layups and dunks.

Finally...there is my two cents...glad to get that off my chest.
