Santino Is The New Version Of Eric Young?

You are likely to wonder what I mean by Santino Marella being dubbed Eric Young version 2, before Eric Young was being pushed just before he came leader of World Elite, he was the guy TNA went to for stupid gimmicks and skits; just like how the WWE use Santino now although Santino is being used more in skits. Eric young has been told to: wrestle in a sponge bob square pants bikini, Super eric (a superhero), paranoid wrestler and that gimmick resembles the South Park characters Butters and Tweek, Also Eric Young had to wrestle in a turkey suit.

Now you tell me that Eric young wasn't used as a sideshow freak and you can't deny the fact Santino is also used poorly, but times are changing and Eric Young has been getting his push from years of waiting and crowd chants of "UNDERRATED" Eric Young is finally getting his moment to shine. A few weeks ago on Impact Eric Young competed in the main event and team with two of the biggest names in the industry: Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy and his opposition was none other than Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman and Scott Hall. Sure they ain't as fit as in the 90's but the point is the still have the reputation. To top it all off it was a cage match and Eric Young got the win via pin which was set up from a diving elbow from the top of the cage and he was the one holding his arm in the air after years and years of misuse, He was like the Shelton Benjamin of TNA.

On to Santino Marella, a two time Intercontinental Champion and current sideshow of the WWE. Can lightning strike twice? Can history repeat itself? Well if it can Santino might get a push, because he is an exceptional talent in the ring and underrated on the mic. So as a sitcom in the works for him can we also see a push maybe not main event but upper midcard. If the sitcom gets enough attention maybe they might push him, because the WWE are smart enough to capatilize on the attention and wouldn't let the star of the sitcom be a loser in the ring?

Well it maybe a longshot for Santino but if Eric Young is anything to go by, it might just be that closer for santino. i'm quite shocked I haven't seen the comparsions in these guys earlier. Please leave some comments guys.
