Brandon Marshall's New Deal in Miami Raises the Price Tag on Receviers
New Miami Dolphin wide receiver Brandon Marshall has just signed the richest contract of any receiver in the history of the NFL.
Previously, Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald held that honor by making $10 million per year as the highest paid receiver of all-time.
Marshall reportedly signed a four-year $47.5 million extension with $24 million in guaranteed money.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With Marshall making that much money, one has to wonder what that means for some of the other receivers across the NFL, who are also looking for a big contract.
ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted a humorous message that actually prompted this article to be written.
"Restricted FA WRs Miles Austin and Vincent Jackson would like to take this opportunity to thank Brandon Marshall for his $50 million deal."
So very true now that Schefter has put that into perspective.
Both Jackson and Austin are looking to get a long-term deal done with as many zeros as possible at the end of the number along with other receivers including—Braylon Edwards, Lance Moore, Steve Breaston, and Jackson's teammate Malcolm Floyd.
The Dolphins set a new bar for wide receiver pay which may have a bad fallout for other teams looking to sign their top receiver to a longer deal that will now include a higher and inflated price tag due to one Brandon Marshall.
(Now you can hear receivers across the NFL cheering.)
