My Thoughts from the last few weeks: NFL OT, C.C., McNabb, Jamie McCourt, Duke

The Yankees rode Sabathia’s arm to a world series last year, and there will be negative consequences as a result in the near future. The Yankees are the 3rd franchise to abuse his arm, and he will soon begin to breakdown. I don’t care how big you are, 724 innings over the last 3 years comes with a price.

Can somebody please explain to me what the Philadelphia Eagles are doing trading Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins, a team in the same division?

Who is more evil: Jamie McCourt, Smigel, Mr. Burns or Grendel’s mother?

SUCCUBUS ALERT: Jamie McCourt says she needs 1 million dollars a month to survive. This is a classic case of need and want. Correction Jamie, you do not need a mill, you want a mill. STOP TRYING TO SUCK THE DODGERS DRY. WHAT A TERRIBLE WOMAN! You really need to go back to where you came from! Don't even try to tell me ......she's misunderstood or a good person, you can do so much better for the world with 12 million a year than waste it on expensive hairdos, furniture, and your 7 homes.

I love sports but because of the ridiculous prices; I rarely go to live events. Rather sit down in front of the HD big screen, chow some reasonably priced foods, and chill in AC. Dodger stadium is such a major fiasco to get out of it’s not even worth going.

Heard some idiot on the radio say that this year’s final 4 does not represent the best 4 teams in the country. I couldn't disagree more; these are the best 4 teams in the nation. If you think otherwise that is probably because you had a distorted idea of who was good and who wasn't to begin with.

Hearing some hate on Duke...I actually liked Baylor a ton (had them in the final 4) and Butler turned out to be quite legit, so I'm giving Duke some kudos for knocking them both out.

Is it fair to ask athletes to be absolute monsters, assassins, and hit men on the field and law abiding gentlemen off the field? Seems like a difficult and unreasonable key to turn on and off…

I love a good upset as much the next guy, but the numbers speak to a different tune. Highest rated games were the Duke games. You either love or hate them, but you will make sure to watch. Polarizing teams always bring in the fans; Cinderella’s can't always say that.

Do you think the phenomenon of athlete bankruptcy is mainly an African American issue, or is it affecting athletes of all races?

What do Scottie Pippen, Evander Holyfield, Lenny Dykstra, Latrell Sprewell, John Daly, Jack Clark and Mike Tyson all have in common?

The Big Ben surveillance videos at the bar where that possible incident might have occurred have allegedly been accidentally overwritten and no longer exist... Are you buying this? Is this really an accident or a conspiracy?

I like the new NFL OT rules. While it would be more equitable to implement the new rules during the regular season as well, the risk of injury is far too great. During the playoffs it would make sense to subject players to a lengthier game and subsequent possible injuries, but during the regular season just doesn't make sense. Once again the NFL makes the smart and rational move to improve the overall product.
