Well I got the idea to a full NFL Mock Draft. Not just round 1 but all 255 pick in this years NFL draft. I am not going to include trades because when we start to get in to the later rounds it would get to hard to predict. So hear are the first 50 picks because thats all slides let you have. The rest of the draft will be coming up shortly.
The Rams need to turn this franchise around. They have spent early picks on defense in the past. I think Bradford needs to be the pick here. He has proven he is healthy. And they drafted Jason Smith last year to draft what ever QB they have. This gives the fans some hope and a Face of the Franchise.
The Lions get what they were hoping for. The best player in this years draft falls to them at 2. With the recent McNabb trade their trading options dwindled. Suh will provide the Lions with a presence on defense up front that Delmas brought last year to the secondary. Schwartz gets his DT to build his defense around.
The Bucs get arguably the second best player in this draft in Gerald McCoy. They have a major need at DT and McCoy will provide them with a presence they haven't had since Sapp.
Well they just got their QB. Now they need to keep him up right. The 'Skins offensive line was horrid last year. Okung reminds Shannahan of Clady. It is arguably the best player available and their biggest need so done deal.
With the 5th pick the Chiefs pick maybe the most underrated player in this draft in my opinion. Berry has the talent to be the next dominant safety in the NFL. Not to mention he has the ability to play corner. With his talent and the Chiefs lack of talent in the secondary Berry will give them instant credibility.
Trent Williams, I feel has been rising up draft boards as of late. With the retirement of Walter Jones, Seattle brings in his replacement immediately. Trent Williams, as Hasselbeck will thank the Seahawks giving him some protection. This leaves the opportunity for Seattle to take a playmaker later in the first.
Mike Holmgren has said himself that his secondary needs help. Here comes Joe Haden. He will provide them with a number one corner with very good coverage skills. He has the potential to be a shutdown corner that Holmgren is looking for.
Well last year I gave Oakland the benefit that they would not just draft an athlete. The came Heyward-Bey. Well luckily Maryland put out another athlete for Oakland to snatch up. Bruce Campbell, has very little starting experience but his potential is endless. His athletic ability is off the charts and Al Davis just can't resist himself.
Well I think the Trent Edwards experiement ran its course. With the new coaching staff in they are going to want their man under center. Jimmy Clausen is also crossing his fingers because if he does not get selected here he could tumble down. He provides them with a leader, and a capable QB.
Jacksonville, I feel will be looking to get back to defensive minded football that brought them success. Derrick Morgan will pair up with Derrick Harvey, and Quienten Groves, to provide them with a pass rush around the edges that they need. Derrick Morgan is a good value at this point in the draft, I feel he has the ability to be a top 5 talent.
I feel as though Brandon Marshall is going to be in a different uniform come next season. Dez Bryant provides an immediate replacement for him. He has a few problems but not as many as Marshall I believe. And with Marshall gone McDaniels will be looking for a new weapon for Orton or, Quinn to throw to.
Miami needs a NT to anchor their 3-4. Dan Williams is the perfect fit for Miami. He will provide size for Miami and the quickness to still be disruptive in the backfield. They could go Cody but Parcells I think will like WIlliams's work ethic better than Cody.
San Fran finally gives Patrick Willis a playmaker on the defensive side of the ball. Singletary is going to want to build up that defense and Thomas is the best prospect on the board. He will provide great coverage ability in San Fran's secondary.
Pete Carroll gets a playmaker on offense. Spiller makes plays, be it in the return , passing, or running game. He can take it to the house every time he touches the ball. The Seahawks get the playmaker on offense that can strike fear in to opposing defenses.
With Antonio Pierce gone the Giants have a huge hole in the middle of their defense. McClain can step in day one and be the leader of that defense. He is the kind of football player Coughlin loves. Easy pick here for the G-men top ILB in the draft with a huge need on the team.
The last two off-seasons the Titans have lost Albert Haynesworth, and Kyle Vanden Bosch. They need playmakers up front to replace them. Pierre-Paul provides a playmaking ability that they need. He has untapped potential and could be a tremendous pass rusher in the NFL.
The 49ers, have one of the top tackles fall to them at 17. They have a need on the offensive line and I think Bulaga will fit in perfectly with Singletary's attitude. He provides a book end left tackle that can hopefully help Alex Smith develop.
The Steelers have said they would like to get back to their running game. Iupati will open up holes for Mendenhall as Faneca did for Bettis. Iupati is a terrific run blocker, some say he is the best guard prospect since Steve Hutchinson. He is still a little raw but with coaching he could turn in to a perineal pro-bowler.
The Falcons need a CB. Luckily for them Kyle Wilson is still on the board. Since the off-season started he has done nothing but risen his draft stock. He has the potential to be a shutdown corner and an excellent return man.
Back to back Corners here. Since losing Dunta Robinson the Texans need a number 1 corner. Kareem Jackson has that ability. Maybe a little reach here but the need is big enough that I think he will be the pick here.
Cincinnati needs a playmaker on offense to help out Carson. They have added Bryant, but if they add Gresham to it will open up lanes for Benson, Not only it will help out OchoCinco by giving him more one on one coverages. Gresham can stretch the middle of the field 40 yards at a time and is an excellent receiver.
New England need to revamp their defense. Sergio Kindle will bring youth and speed to the outside of the Patriots defense. It is a tough decision between Graham and Kindle, but I think Kindle has more potential and is a little better fir here.
Aaron Rodgers just jumped up and down. They Green Bay offensive line was horrible last year to put it lightly. Anthony Davis is a massive LT that will protect Rodgers. He will be a starter from Day 1 and I think Green Bay is lucky to have him fall to them.
The Eagles need to protect Kolb or their is no way he will succeed. Pouncey is the most versatile line man in this draft. He will start at guard from day 1 and if Jamal Jackson falls to injury again he can step in at center and not miss a beat.
Ed Reed can not cover everybody even though he comes close. The Ravens need cornerback help. McCourty, is the best corner available and he will have the potential to lock down one side of the field for Baltimore, and help out Ed Reed a ton.
The Cardinals could use some offensive line help here. But Brandon Graham is too good a value to pass up here. Graham and Porter coming off the edges will terrorize offensive lines all season long. He has a high motor and goes to the whistle every time.
Taylor Mays has more potential than anybody in this draft. He has all the tools to be a dominant safety. He needs to work on his recognition skills. He needs to start reading the plays better and start playing the ball. But he will make you think twice about catching a ball near him. The Cowboys have the potential to have the best player in the draft here and he takes care of a huge need.
The Chargers have a few options here but I think Matthews fits Norv's offense perfectly. He is a do everything back. He will be an excellent complement to Sproles and the Chargers offense will not miss L.T. with the pick of Matthews here.
Rex Ryan loves defense. The Jets could use another 3-4 end and Odrick would be a perfect fit for this defense. He is a high intensity guy and I think Rex Ryan would love to have this guy on his defense. Defense is what got them to the playoffs and will continue in the future.
The Vikings need help at corner as it was exposed in the NFC Chanmpionship game. Patrick Robinson was the highest rated corner going in to this year. Injuries and a poor Florida St. team hurt him this year. If he stays healthy and plays up to his potential they have a shut down corner on their hands. I am a big fan of Robinson's and I think he could have a Cromartie like impact on this defense.
Bill Polian put the blame of the Super Bowl loss on his offensive line. He will address this concern late in this years draft. I think Brown is a terrific fit here. He has the athletic ability to work well in this spread offense. Manning will have more time with this selection which is exactly what NFL defenses don't need to have happen.
The Saints cut Charles Grant this offseason. They could use some more depth on the defensive line. Price can provide more than depth though. He has a playmaking ability on the inside that matches the top DT's taken in this years draft. He will improve the Saints defense and help them in their title defense.
The St. Louis Rams need to get somebody that Bradford can throw the ball to. This will make the Rams look pretty good at the skill positions on offense with, Jackson, Bradford, Tate, and Avery. Not only will Tate help out Bradford I think he is the BPA at this point in the draft.
Well being a Lions fan I really don't like this pick but. He is the best on the board right now. He will provide a home run threat that the Lions are missing other than Calvin. Injuries are a concern but the Lions take the risk that he can bounce back and be the playmaker he was in college.
Tampa Bay address their DT concern with McCoy. Now Josh Freeman needs some weapons to continue his development. Demaryius Thomas has the potential to be a number one WR in the NFL if he can stay healthy. He is moving up draft boards as he continues to get healthy and I think the Bucs swoop him up here.
The Eagles need some players on their defense. I think Witherspoon will provide them with the quality OLB they are looking for, along with some leadership and some personality. Philly got lucky with him making it out of the first round and can't pass him up here.
The Chiefs could use a presence inside their 3-4. Well to say the least Cody will have a presence in Kansas City. Pushing 400 pounds Cody will eat up blockers to free up linebackers in KC's defense.
Mohammed Massoquai, proved to be a good receiver in the NFL last year. But Benn has the tools to be a great WR in the NFL. He will give the Browns QB a weapon to throw to when they are not handing it off to Harrison.
The Raiders actually make a solid football move here and continue to improve their line and try to help out JaMarcus Russell is thats possible.
It is a bit of a reach here but it fills a big need since the departure of Jamal Williams. Cam thomas is big enough to play NT in a 3-4 and could actually provide some playmaking ability from there.
He will help out with the transition to the 3-4 by providing some speed on the outside. Buffalo was hoping for a NT to fall to them but will have to work on the outside first.
The Bucs will have a greatly improved defensive line as Carlos Dunlap stays in state and is a great pick up here by the Tampa. He has top 10 ability but has never been consistent. Also some off-field issues are a part of the reason for his slight tumble in this draft.
Another Florida kid stays home as Miami selects Nate Allen. He is a great value here and will help a Miami secondary that needs it. He has great athletic ability and will be a starter from Day 1 in Miami.
The Patriots continue to get younger on defense. The Pats could have the best young duo of inside linebackers with this pick, as Spikes pairs up with Mayo. Spikes will provide leadership and playmaking ability and would have gone earlier if not for the poor off-season that he had.
I think the Broncos get a good pick here with Sean Lee. Out of Linebacker U you know that he knows how to play the position. He will work well with D.J. Williams on the inside of that defense. I think he is an overlooked prospect that could be a great player from day 1.
The Giants get a good defensive tackle that they can plug in to that dominant Giants line. He will work well with Tuck and Mathias. If Osi gets hist act together this will be a formidable d-line.
I think everybody saw this pick coming from a mile away for obvious reasons.
Carolina's first pick goes to the Tight End position. They say a TE is a QB's best friend and Gronk will provide Matt Moore with a good security blanket. he could even help Steve Smith out taking some coverage away. This is my last description to speed things up.
