After last weeks defeat to Bayern Munich, and followed by a Chelsea victory...United will look to bounce back when they face Bayern in an all important second leg clash at Old Trafford.

On Friday the media were addressed an it was confirmed that there was no major damage, just some ankle ligament damage.
But since then English media have been reporting that the leading goal scorer will be ready to come Wednesday evening, when United need to turn around a 2-1 lead that Bayern have, after conceding two late goals in the dying minutes of the first leg.
How true these reports are, and if they can be trusted, i am not sure. But if they are true Rooney's presence on the pitch could help United creating more urgency and pace something they lacked on the weekend against Chelsea.
“Rooney hope of shock return against Bayern,” read a headline in the Daily Telegraph, while the Daily Mail said “United test Wayne for Bayern comeback.”
There hasn't been any official statement regarding Wayne's return or current fitness, but it will interesting to see whether the English International will be training with fellow team mates tomorrow.
Rooney has scored 34 goals this season, and was in the race to topple Ronaldo's 42 goal record. Last week so the nation hold it's breadth as Rooney was helped of the pitch and speculation whether he will make it to the World Cup in South Africa.
But could Sir Alex ruin his season by allowing him an early return, something that Wenger did last week with Cesc Fabregas whose now out for the season and hoping to be ready and fit for the World Show Piece.
Well, all will be revealed when Sir Alex releases the team sheet, until then we can only speculate, and if you a United fan...let's hope for the best!!
