End of Spartan Basketball Season...

The Spartans Make it to the Final Four… and lost to an extremely good Butler team… Close game.. if it wasn't for some very questionable calls early in the first half.. the Spartans probably could have pulled it out.. hate to blame the refs.. but they sucked... But, in reality.. Give them huge props... the Spartans were gutting it out on band aids and glue...

At this point, I'd like to see Butler win the whole shoot’in match..

Making it this far is a once in a life time accomplishment for most teams.. The Spartans have been EXTREMELY Fortunate...

The Spartans end the 2009 - 2010 season with a record of:  14 – 4, 28 – 9.

Over all grade for the year A+ for everyone involved.. office staff, maintenance, support teams, everyone..

The Spartans were playing hurt, but motivated to get this far.. Kalin Lucas out, Chris Allen hurt, Delvon Roe torn knee and bum wrist… no that the season is over, Delvon is headed to surgery ASAP…

The SpartyMSU player of the year is Draymond Green.. He was impressive by both his offensive and defensive abilities, but more importantly his positive infectious attitude..

Since the injuries started, the team grew even closer and more unified.  Thank you Boys !

Next year the Spartans will have some very good new additions in:

Adreian Payne
Alex Gauna
